Just ordered a new bomber yesterday and plan to follow your upgrade advice. Plastic = no good.
Interested in doing a couple of these upgrades already and some i have already done. Still working with the old bomber and still having a ton of fun with it. It is a little different than others to crawl but not many people can go to some of the places I get into

Even on 1.9 crawlers, ive always run a single stage closed cell rear foam. I feel it keeps the tires from squating and spinning around the wheel when going vertical
Ive tan the single stage before but never the heavy weight single stage which does feel much different.

Looks good Josh, those wheels and tires with that new livery looks killer! Looking forward to seeing the High Altitude setup on there... Its skid needs longer upper links than those Incision ones though. Hardcore-RC has some high clearance stainless and titanium options specifically for it.

Ditch the stock livery and put a vanquish or Harley designs wrap on it like the ripper 😎

I’m building up a bomber as well. Want to order the CI foams as well. Would you considering using the heavyweight 2.2’s you have in the rear up front? Reason why you didn’t?
Josh sorry I know this vids old but I'm starting a bomber build and replacing the pot metal bevel gears with HD gears but Im trying to decide if I should buy the HD Underdrive gears for the rear and go w/stock 38/13 HD for the front or would you recommend 38/13 for both ? I'll be running 3s with a HH Puller Pro 3500kv V2 ? Thanks Bro

Schaaaaweet!! Trailing arms I would go a different way but the drive shafts are nice. Now the HH puller pro is missing!! ;) ...and the servo has to go.
There is just no better trailing arm choice.

It doesn't need all these upgrades at all. I would just add a rear sway bar and the link kit. I run a 2900kv brushless system on 3s in my Bomber 1.0, and those are my only other upgrades, just for handling.

It's funny the 2020 Bomber is supposed to be an upgrade but the original Kit version came with everything you just upgraded and more except for the tyres and foams.
Who said it is suppose to be an upgrade ??
