- My Axial Bomber was put to the test in a U4RC race and my Transmission and Transfer Case took a beating. Time to upgrade! Hot Racing makes some of the best affordable upgrades on the market. The Aluminum transmission case and transfer case makes for an even more stout combination!

Have you got any suggestions on hd high speed gears for the trans & transfere case ? I have a yeti , already upgraded the spur/pinion and installed over drive bevel gear set in both f/r diff's,
What pro-line shocks and lengths did you use? And are pineapple gears better than stock ?
What is the big pin that comes in the hardware bag of the transmission housing, I found a place to fit it, but it stays loose when transmission is closed and just makes noise, don't see a need for this part. Did you use it?

looks good rich! I used their stuff for my scx10 II transmission. it looks great and it's super beefy.
I'm also glad to see that you used these parts and that you like them. I bought a bomber chassis off eBay for a piece build and I was eyeing the hr case as an option.
hey, I didn't know you had f9's on that truck. how do you like them?
humble rc F9's are great. Make sure and get the BPC skid plates. I believe VP will be offering them soon, otherwise get them on his FB page - BPChassis
The RCNetwork I just put a set of f9's on my wraith, but I haven't had the chance to run it. thanks for the tip on the skid plates. they're on the way.
What motor for it to go so fast?
hi rich was wondering what spare mount you are using on your bomber and thank you in advance love your channel please keep them coming you have help more than you could ever know !
I will be doing a video soon on the mod, but it's simple. Just unscrew the "Tailgate" portion of the buggy and flip the tire mount to the inside of the RC. The angle of the tire mount is a bit awkward, but I got my tire mounted anyways.

Can you do a video in how to choose between the bomber or yeti?
I had both....and the Yeti is much easier to drive, fast. The Bomber is better at crawling and some fast stuff. I no longer have either though
Please help Rich!! I have a yeti with the same hot racing transmission case and affiliated transfer case. I'm trying to upgrade my bearings and I can't seem to get the two bearings in the back case and center bearing of the front case removed. Any tips would really help. Thanks.
You can try tapping the case and also putting the exact size shaft into the bearing (part of the transmission shafts) and rocking it slightly to get it removed
Is there a bolt-on dig unit available for this transmission?
DargoDog I know there’s a 2 Speed....but you can always retrofit it with an SCX trans and add the VP dig

Looking for comments about the ssd high ratio transmission for the wraith , opinions anybody ?
SSD makes decent stuff.....but of course won't directly bolt into a Bomber without some additional work

Derek Layton thanks for watching and the comment. Being my first case swap, no directions and a screw fest like I pointed out, the last thing I wanted to do was show me putting screws in and taking them out, cleaning gears, etc. for the next one, sure.
Bomber or wraith?
Jordan Phillips bomber for more speed, wraith for more crawling.
Both are great....Bomber can handle a bit more in my opinion with the trailing arm set up
