Runeterra is literally a cluster of world-ending events. You have the Watchers in the Freljord, the World Runes in that petricite forest, Mordekaiser in the Immortal Bastion, Zyra in Ixtal, the Void in Icathia, the Harrowing from the Shadow Isles, the Darkin, and finally Aurelion Sol once he's freed from the Targonians.
I love how he's basically the Villain, with a capital V. This guy is trying to organize an army of souls to take over the world, he's the single most evil thing that originated from Runeterra. And he's a versatile mage/tank that can take over a variety of roles.
not really evil, he used to kill people to get to runeterras valhalla, from which he was denied because it doesnt exist. he now kills people to create his own valhalla, not to be evil or just for fun.
Brambleback noxus is literally the villain so hard. They have Draven for one of the generals, who only lives to murder people. Darius who can be chill but is pretty metal, swain who wants to conquer the whole world with his little crow demon, multiple assassins that have too much fun murdering people, and some schizophrenic 17 year old that has one of the most powerful weapons in the world at his disposal. I think they are the villains by far.

Atakhan, Bringer of Ruin is an extremely powerful entity she's trapped to help fight him, she's clearly been manipulating surrounding nations so she has more access to anti-magic countermeasures. Rell was just another attempt. One that had a decent amount of resources behind it and failed, but just another in a massive line of countermeasures.

I'd honestly like to see the Mordekaiser rework against the Aatrox rework lore wise of course because they're both pretty much indomitable warlords, Aatrox is the fallen god of war and Mordekaiser is the ruler of the Death Realm.
Odukomaster Shen and Mordekaiser have never met in the lore. Shen has access to the Spirit Realm, whereas Morde resides in the Afterlife or “Death Realm.” Shen’s still EXTREMELY strong though, he’s beaten entire armies of demons and spirits all by himself. So while they haven’t met, i’d say Shen’s still on or at least very near Morde’s level of power.

I think this theme represents his timeline. The first part is his past, the first time he came on runeterra as Mordekaiser, ruling with an iron fist until his "death" by the hand of LeBlanc. The middle part is the present: he is in his realm of undeath building his power (just as the music slowly picks up the pace again) and waiting for the moment to strike. Then, the future: when the theme becomes stronger than the first part, that represents the moment he'll return, and conquer Runeterra, destroying everything in his path. Lastly the theme's end; the last seconds, silence as Mordekaiser has ended his conquest, and nothing remains.
You are correct, madam. They did the theme to reflect First the tyranny of his Second Conquest; then, the Silence of the hereafter; and lastly, his return to smite the living.
I also love the frequent ressonance you hear, like he's a demon or a Kabal of hidden evils.... Something like out of a history book tô freighten people... Like a necromancer in a dark Forest. Besides that, the heavy percussion, almost like a military march, but reminiscent of a barbaric one. Maybe because he was a barbarian, after all.

Mordekaiser at one point was mortal and to some degree still is a mortal being but ONLY if he is in the Realm of The Living because if you read the lore it says that LeBlanc talked the Noxii tribes to kill Mordekaiser which they did and that means although he is incredibly hard to kill he is killable but only when in the opposite realm but after he died the second time he did get transported to the Realm of Death again so he is kind of half and half

The Mordekaiser rework is one of my favorites so far. He fits the roll of being an AP juggernaut very well. He’s kitable but if he manages to get ontop of you then you’re going to take a lot of damage. Plus he has built in sustain and tankiness. Lastly in a way his ult makes it to where if he gets focused too hard in a team fight he can just leave it for seven seconds. There’s so much to talk about how well Mord was designed but I’ll stop and let y’all get back to rockin

I think this theme represents his timeline. The first part is his past, the first time he came on runeterra as Mordekaiser, ruling with an iron fist until his "death" by the hand of LeBlanc. The middle part is the present: he is in his realm of undeath building his power (just as the music slowly picks up the pace again) and waiting for the moment to strike. Then, the future: when the theme becomes stronger than the first part, that represents the moment he'll return, and conquer Runeterra, destroying everything in his path. Lastly the theme's end; the last seconds, silence as Mordekaiser has ended his conquest, and nothing remains.
You are correct, madam. They did the theme to reflect First the tyranny of his Second Conquest; then, the Silence of the hereafter; and lastly, his return to smite the living.
I also love the frequent ressonance you hear, like he's a demon or a Kabal of hidden evils.... Something like out of a history book tô freighten people... Like a necromancer in a dark Forest.
Besides that, the heavy percussion, almost like a military march, but reminiscent of a barbaric one. Maybe because he was a barbarian, after all.
Now this is a KING, not some edgy sad boy.
Morde is more than a King, he's a Emperor. The ruined king is just a edgy emo thanks to riot bad creative.

Well, Morde is not in any way mortal. Also, it's not like Aatrox won't go full COME, FIGHT at him.
@mordekaiser the iron revenant agreed but I have a bit more to add. Mordekaiser at one point was mortal and to some degree still is a mortal being but ONLY if he is in the Realm of The Living because if you read the lore it says that LeBlanc talked the Noxii tribes to kill Mordekaiser which they did and that means although he is incredibly hard to kill he is killable but only when in the opposite realm but after he died the second time he did get transported to the Realm of Death again so he is kind of half and half
mordekaiser the iron revenant as well as aatrox he wants to die but it’s physically impossible for him to do he just kills and bring destruction to the world because he think if he destroys everything he can maybe die sounds edgy but that’s aatrox
He can still die, but he can also come back. When he die, he was just sent back to the death realm but can still return. I think?

I really hope that Viego's storyline ends up with Mordekaiser awakening once more. It'd be hilarious to see Viego in absolute fear of the god of death.

Having a dandy EnSlaved Enemy Marksman or someone like Tryndamere or Master Yi or Darius is an instant Downfall for the enemy well my meta was Being able to keep up with the enemy team so i prefer plating Skirmishers and Tank champs than Assassins and Mages
Glass Cannon Mordekaiser is also a risk for me to try but when he het Reworked

I would probably love if Mordekaiser's Q can also inflict Grounding effect when hit so they can't Dash like how dfaq can you survived getting smashed by Mordekaiser's Mace with his spiteful might
or and atleast Riot could have also tweaked Mordekaiser's Ultimate where in always, if they exit the Death Realm, it also casts a neutral Silence with its range parallel to the casted Death Realm for 1.5 - 3 seconds which gives off a nice Vibe of getting chills of surviving or being demised by Mordekaiser's Ultimate

* Nashor's Tooth for 20% CDR and On-Hitting Hard your Mace faster then proceed your Liandry's there after
* Spirit Visage for stronger Conqueror Heal and 10% CDR
* Deadman's Plate for that Dreadnought before you can proc Darkness Rising, once you build Deadman's Plate, you can proceed to Replace your boots early with Thornmail
* Adaptive Helm or Thornmail - this would be depending on the opposing opposition, you can also replace 10% CDR with 10% Attack Speed if you would be taking Adapive Helm soon
* Rylai's Crystal Scepter - the Reason Liandry's would be the best because the Bleed that Morellonomicon inflicts would be coming from Thornmail and with Liandry's rather than your Passive dealing Fast Ticks it literally Shreds at Mid to Late Game

Imagine the ruination event wouldn't have ended the way it did with the heroes stopping Viego, but instead it is Morde who showed up and didn't appreciate what Viego was doing to the world HE was about to conquer.

The Mordekaiser rework is one of my favorites so far. He fits the roll of being an AP juggernaut very well. He’s kitable but if he manages to get ontop of you then you’re going to take a lot of damage. Plus he has built in sustain and tankiness. Lastly in a way his ult makes it to where if he gets focused too hard in a team fight he can just leave it for seven seconds. There’s so much to talk about how well Mord was designed but I’ll stop and let y’all get back to rockin
