What a great game you have done, I can see love and passion on it. I would love to see Skoottie playing it more ! This channel gives me peace, happy new year ❤
I was pretty dissatisfied on the turns where you opted to heal + take damage cause there weren’t any good angles on the last enemy. I think there’s a great fix for this where the enemies start dealing damage when you run out of shots, but you still take turns, they just hit at the end of every turn until they’re all gone.
The hardest level is 20 currently and already really hard. I agree the lower difficulties are a little too tame right now though, which is why the upcoming big demo update will have a lot of rebalancing (and add boss enemies which will make it more spicy too).
It seems like an interesting game with a lot of potential. But if I were the devs I'd deviate from the cue sport aspect and just call it marbles. Any basis on cue sports is loosely referential to the more common placements of the pockets, the 'enemies' also don't have the correct coloration for anything outside of snooker, and otherwise everything just feels marble-esque; the biggest point is that there's no strategy of hitting the ball, such as spins or making the ball jump, it's just a basic 'hit the ball in a direction with a power meter' which can also be applied to how the traditional game of marbles would otherwise be translated to a videogame. There's just nothing about this that directly implies cue sport, and it deviates so far from it that it's not recognizable as such. I also think marbles themselves has an exponential amount of more breathing room for ideas to expand the game, whereas cue sport is fairly locked down to what cue sport is, else you deviate too from cue sport which is what's already happening here; I think a roguelike with the basis in cue sports is possible, conceptually, but only within a wildly different approach that has emphasis and expansion on the cue sport itself, which isn't what's demonstrated here, and thus why marbles fits this game's concept better. I mean, this game has bouncy surfaces, is it suddenly pinball? No, and there's no basis that it would be pinball outside of field objects and such; apply the same thinking as to how this game is related to cue sport in any way, whereas conceptually this fits marbles much better. Maybe it started off as a cue sport roguelike but evolved into what it is now, but I still think the devs should switch it up while it's still in beta and early access.
Find this game is terribly inefficient given its fairly simple visuals. Gets super laggy when playing hopefully they'll fix that during its demo period
@@Ludokultur just general gameplay, gets super framey... I'm talking like 1-2 fps. And that's from the start. I don't have the most top end laptop but can still play indie games that are relatively intensive with no issues. All good though thanks for the reply 👍
Hey, thank you so much for playing my little game! Big fan of your SAP content, keep it up! :)

@@mascachapas1998man Skoottie brings me so much peace too. Also, this game looks like a lot fun. The full release looks like it will be a real winner!
Mans has never played pool before and can tell

Thats what it sounded like is the case
The full game is out!!
Another great looking game! They for sure need to make the hardest mode harder tho

You're surprised the spikes kill you?
Spikes dont seem that strong against ceramic lol
@@SkoottieDunno. Have you tried banging ceramic to a spike?

but marbles are lame and pool is cool

Any particular situations where you encountered lagging? Haven't heard that complaint yet.
