  • Sarasota is a city south of Tampa on Florida’s Gulf Coast that was once the winter home of the Ringling Brothers Circus. Today, it hosts several cultural institutes, notably the Ringling Museum of Art, which showcases old masters and modern art. It’s also the gateway to miles of beaches with fine sand and shallow waters, such as Lido Beach and Siesta Key Beach.

Who do you think Sarasota appeals to more? Young, single professionals, families, retirees??

Sarasota is where fun goes to die. Try walking around downtown sarasota past 10pm. The elderly demographic have a grip on municipality. Go an look at some of the board meetings its almost comical, they tried to stop first friday, they lobby to get of nightclubs and dancing venue.. Chalk art was problem with them, at 10pm the noise level of venues has to be 65 decibals??. Its a joke, especially for the younger generations. Could you imagine paying 2 million expecting to live in a vibrant city and instead having your life governed by someone who sits sipping milk and farting on their couch at 10 pm on friday night, intently listening for loud noises to complain about?

Stop bitching and organize younger people to start speaking out. St. Pete changed massively because younger generations started speaking out. Retirees aren't even a majority in Sarasota, there's a high percentage but there are still more people under 65 than over.

You’re way too angry and wrong. Sarasota has changed significantly and has tons of young people. Not sure when this video was taken but this area is usually packed at night. Judging by the heaters it might have been chilly. We don’t like chilly. Lol

has not changed at all, go and watch public board meetings from Jan to Dec of this year. Between crony capitalism for few owners and the demographic that influences the board through ordinances, its better if you spend your entertainment dollars in St Pete and Tampa.

Like you're going to stay the same age forever! What about when you get older??? Do you think you won't eventually get to that age if you live long enough???😂😂😂
