- Tampa is known for the vibrant Ybor City, the gigantic Florida Aquarium, the heart-pumping Busch Gardens, and for being the birthplace of the Cuban sandwich. Tampa is also famous for its lush parks, cigar factories, contemporary museums, high-end eateries, and stunning sidewalks.
So much change, I miss Tampa but don't miss the heat.
When I moved down from Massachusetts in the 80’s, I was amazed at how clean the streets were. No trash on the streets.
People from up north bringing the trash to Tampa.
And for a major Florida city that's a testament.
I’m thinking about coming to Tampa more & more Everytime I watch a video😂
Me too. It looks beautiful
I know right 🙌🏾
I live here. Outside of Tampa is better. I live across the bay and I can drive over the bridge anytime something is going on and then leave after. Tampa has too much chaos to stay permanently
@@richardhanes7370what kind of chaos?
Hopefully you got a good job lined-up
Amazing tour around the place.
❤ regosijadas de encantadoras bendiciones por siempre en nuestros corazones.
good job we need more video for Tampa ❤️👏👏👏👏🤛♥️ may god protect
Gonna check this out next time I am over there
Great video focused on new Channelside development where Bill spent billions. Be sure to catch some others for Riverwalk and other areas. TampaBay grew up nice. Hope all can continue to enjoy it, and that part never changes.
What day of the week was this?
Nice video
Saturday
This looks soooooo much better than Miami.
Right 🫶
its like mini Miami, and i like it like that, but too many people moving there these days since theyre starting to see that
@@diodelvino3048 I don't know about that. Tampa looks like a much funner city than Miami is. The only thing you have in Miami is overpriced restaurants that suck.
on god, half these restaurants are gimmicky and trendy and put no soul into the food, but Miami has more going on and for a decent amount of people thats more "fun" for them. I still like Tampa more though because its not as overwhleming@@thedirtybubble9613
@@thedirtybubble9613 Depends on your definition of fun. Let's just say that Tampa is much more family friendly, which I like. Hopefully, GasWorx will help clean up Ybor (poor man's Bourbon St.) and bring out its historic charm.
how do you end up walking down dark empty streets instead of down around the channel and up the river walk
This was probably just before or after a Lightning game. Be The Thunder ⚡
When the game is let out, you can't walk in Tampa..so many people.
Tô indo pra lá no início do ano que vem, se Deus quiser.
I’m surprised at how clean this place is. Not a dumb leader in that city I see
Thank you 😊 I like it too ❤️
I'm not s sure about the leader part, but yes, Tampa's downtown area is very clean with no where near the homeless of most other cities. Now with our state passing a new homeless law we should have none. That's when we'll see who our real mayors are in the state.
Being from San Diego I can say that Tampa is way prettier than SD. Its the weather that people like in SD but if it was humid like Tampa, no one would go to SD.
There is noting in Channel side district
I’m coming to Tampa on 15th Aug please guide some nice sightseeing
Channel District looks really nice. Looking to move to Tampa in a few months. Will be down there in two weeks and will definitely check out that area. Thanks for the vid.
Just so everyone knows it's not called the okwalk ita called Sparkman wharf so you can GPS it
Miami look way better.
Aos 05:28 uma brasileira diz: Duas coisas separadas.😂😂😂😂😂😂
Do st Pete
I will. Thank you
I live near saint Petersburg. Way more family friendly and without the ghettos of Tampa 😂. I can drive 20 minutes and be in Tampa for events and then go back home for a relaxing evening.
Electric bills from teco $800 monthly average for everyone. You want to spend all your money on bills this is a great city for you. You be broke in a couple of months.
You have a leak
I pay $120
$800? Sounds like someone just made it public that they are operating a grow house.
@@321gates obviously you are not from Florida. Yes electricity bill can be very higher in summer without grow houses.
@@network263 LOL. I'm 4th generation Floridian, chief. About 100 years of that in the Bay area. How bout you?
I can’t wait to move here in a couple months 🥲
Did you ever move? Any regrets?
@@sergiocolin1922 I did move! I live in Tampa off Dale Mabry close to the Buccs stadium! No regrets at all except for taking a bit of a pay cut, but I’ll bounce back. I lived in Alaska in Anchorage before. The only thing I’ve heard a lot of the locals say is that Saint Pete is better but it’s also a bit more expensive to rent.
If i could find better pay id live in St.Pete or Tampa in a heartbeat. Used to live there as a kid for a bit and visit all the time. You should check out ST.Pete's downtown ESPECIALLY Central Ave. and the beaches. Maybe ill move back if i get remote work @@Nintentional
How's the traffic
People complain, but it is much better than most metro areas it's size.
Statistically it is worse and that's because we don't have a rapid transit system other than the streetcar.
@@321gates
@@MyDumbQuestion How is it statistically worse? Rapid transit where? Tampa has a long way to go before it's conjested enough to spend billions of dollars on a transportation system that even cities twice Tampa's size don't have.
with the crazy amount of growth and tourism, i can be pretty bad
Being from Chicago, this is nothing 😂
