It seems the cases you used on the others phones, notably the iPhone, had very large lips causing water to pool inconsistently between all devices which could cause a high level of inaccuracy on your tests.
Also were all screens new for all devices? It seems either you had some type of grease or oil very visible on the iPhone screen after your spray down which would cause an error with any form of testing.
Perhaps this was the one you used as a daily driver and potentially during testing wore through areas of the oleophobic coating in a premature manner due to your testing. Maybe even you perhaps had some unintentional residue there for some other reason but personally when my phone is clean I haven’t experience issues consistent with the ones you’ve demonstrated here in your video.
I’ve included the timestamp showing the excessive accumulation toward the center of the screen and near the H key which does not appear present in any other which leads me to believe some manner of residue was present prior to your testing and may have led to possibly unintentional erroneous results. 3:13

The contrast you're seeing at 3:13 could also be due to the larger ratio of water accumulated under his finger in comparison to the smaller screen size, and the high screen reflectivity making it more noticeable in comparison.
What I believe is a more likely culprit is the angle at which Zach sprayed the Samsung, where you can see the droplets at the bottom of the screen are a lot finer than those at the top. He seemingly double takes, gesturing his hand to spray the bottom of the screen, before returning to the iPhone and sticking with his 2 spray policy at 2:32, instead of applying a more even coverage. This is likely due to the screen on the Samsung being so much bigger than the iPhone, and in keeping the spray equidistant, he was not able to achieve full coverage, particularly around the keyboard area being tested unfortunately, and would amount to a large contrast in usability. Hey Jerry, could you make a teardown case for the OnePlus 12, with the red battery of course?
My OnePlus 12 just arrived in the mail. Charging and can't wait to use it. Thanks for the knife discount. Managed to pick it up for $13.25 shipped! $8.70 at checkout with $4.55 s/h.
Jerry how did you become that fit and how to enable swipe touch on Samsung devices
Thank you for doing the stuff we are afraid to do on a new cellphone. For us to know how far our cellphones can go. 😊
I use the Oneplus 12 and I'm honest the quick overheating sometimes is annoying
playing heavy games? or outdoor shooting for extended period?
@@frozenflava i play daily codm on mid graphic and 120fps. The Problem when the phone reaches 38°C it shrinks down to 60fps. And when i too long use the kamera it become quickly hot
@@frozenflava i had the same heat issues with my oppo find X5 lite so idk if this is an oppo/oneplus problem or if it's the same with other flagships
I just baught this phone last week, the battery life and camera are phenomenal! I think you should get one to test it in water just to see how long it lasts submerged and for how long
