Continuing the upgrades on our 1968 Chevy C10 Shop Truck, we swapped the engine with a newer, more powerful Chevy Performance 350 crate motor that's pushing out 333hp! This engine was originally in the Jeep CJ but we figured it'd be more suited in the truck, which we use much more often. We cleaned it up after getting it muddy in the Jeep and gave it a new paintjob and valve covers to make it look brand new even though it has about 2000 miles on it. The truck has way more low end and passing power now, and you can cruise on the highway all day long. Thanks for watching and see you next time!

Beautiful job, it’s great to watch an engine swap that’s realistic instead of watching someone swap a 35k engine into a 50k car! I loved it…. And I’m actually trying to swap out my tired 350v8 with a crate 350v8 into my 71 c10! So it means all the more to me to see it on this level.
It came out really good! If y'all ever need to use the lift just come on over! also the Dyno is very close to being operational. maybe yall can bring over a few gokarts and see how much power they are making

I actually bought the engine that was in this truck with the orange valve covers and put it in the Racecar that is in my profile picture. Every video on my channel is racing with this engine. Out of five outings we’ve had one win in my first year. It’s definitely stock, but it has been a good one so far! I plan to change the heads and cam then we will have a real fire breather. Saw the truck and shop in person, truly badass.

So, I understand that this isn't one of those big name TH-cam channels (no offense intended), but I'm a diehard car guy and one thing that would've been really cool to see with this swap would've been to have gotten rid of the auto and did a Tremec T56 6 speed manual swap along with that 350 crate engine. I'm sure the auto will be fine (it's probably a turbo 350 trans), so it should hold up just fine, but it would've been really cool to see it with a 5 or 6 speed manual swap. I'm not trying to be negative about this, this 350 swap will make it much more fun to drive, I'm just voicing my opinion, but I'm always going to love the manual trans over an auto.
They were doing 70 on the freeway at 2200 RPM. Obviously not a Turbo350 trans.

I'd love to have the old engine to swap into my 1987 chevy Silverado v10 my dad and I put it together when I was 11 I'm 24 now and I'm working on restoring it to make my dad proud

Awesome swap! I'm looking at getting a 71 F250 w/ 360fe when I get home! I have a question about the EFI swap you did, would you recommend going the full 9 yards and doing everything EFI swap with the msd distributor manifold etc etc? Or does the Holly sniper work well enough for daily driving and use? Many thanks guys! Keep up the awesome videos! I always look forward to your videos while I'm out here in deployment!
The EFI on its own should make a big difference and be a good fit for daily driving. We installed the EFI on the truck and drove it for a couple months before we did the MSD supporting upgrades. Thanks for watching and good luck on your build!
ALSO it is a lot easier to remove engines when you remove the radiator !
Iv been watching your videos you should make a motorized reclining chair and cruze around at Walmart
To be honest I would have slapped a blower on it, change the cam to accommodate that boost, and have more powa!

There is a reason to paint engines ANY light color. So you can see oil leaks ! Painting engines black is a mistake, but to each their own.
Did you notice how you guys didn't change the trans, tc or rear end? The gearing shouldn't change on the highway. And please for the love of God, make sure all of those positives are fused.

@@mrgmc6314 I agree. Rather b welding does crazy amount of fab work and finishes pretty much all of his projects. BBR has a lot of creative projects and they do great work and will start doing more fab work as they gain more tool, knowledge, skill, and time. They are still full time students and I am excited to see what they do when they have more time and good paying jobs to fund more tools and bigger projects.
You guys gotta make the videos more upbeat! You look like you guys are working instead of enjoying your builds. The videos are just coming off monotone, like a how to video. You gotta give the videos some more fun, the builds are great! The videos are just coming off like you have to make them, instead of enjoy making them.
They graduated college, rented a shop, and now it’s a job.

This channel would be a lot more interesting and easier to watch if there was a bit less high school theatre acting 🎭 and a lot more just being your self and talk to the camera like we are just one of your mates but it will happen with practice keep making video and just an idea don’t ever call anything on your truck “ pretty “ 😶
