If Akira Ifukube hadn't died just yet, he would have been Godzilla (2014)'s second composer for the Godzilla march where Godzilla returns to the sea in that scene.

You will never be able to convince me that the stories about Legendary & Toho being in talks right up until just before the release of G 2014 weren't true in regards to having Akira Ifukube's Godzilla theme playing at the end of the film.
Especially after seeing this & seeing just how perfectly Godzilla's theme syncs up to the graphic on the large TV screen in the stadium that reads "Godzilla The King of the Monsters", Godzilla rising from the rubble after his battle with the MUTOS, Godzilla roaring & then finally, Godzilla heading back to the ocean & completely disappearing.

No it wasn't. Legendary didn't get the rights to use this music in Godzilla 2014.
