he was called one of the smartest and most strategic minds in the universe by a guy literally makes and destroys universes so yeah. the movie version of batman you're accustom to is not an accurate portrayal in the least. with planning and strategy, batman has beaten gods and multiverse level characters.

More of these needed parallel ecamples to similar threats in DC otherwise they are just statements that Batman wins. Usually Banner turns into the Hulk when harmed. The best bet would be to launch Hulk in space. Batman would be a dangerous villain but I'm not sure he'd beat everyone. Black Widow was given pretty good odds to survive an attack regroup then work against Bats. The best he has in these scenarios is surprise. Batman is my favorite hero but saying he can beat everyone isn't necessary. Also Batman loses to villains all the time so it's a good chance he'd lose to at least one avenger. My money is on Black Widow for skill, Hawkeye for being underestimated or Hulk because he attacks Banner.
I did like his idea about manipulating Thor into making himself unworthy. That one has some legs to it, too bad Jules just made it a throwaway comment and spent all his time on “hEy It WoRkEd On DaRkSeId!!!”
I feel like Spider-Man would be a really tough fight for Batman. His weaknesses aren’t that obvious when fighting him. He doesn’t need to swing or stick to walls to be a tough fight because in combat, he can definitely handle himself with some of the strongest in Marvel and DC. And his Spider-Sense could save him from anything he can’t handle.
Superman can take down Doomsday and Darkseid but is pushed to his limits by Lex Luthor. Iron Man can fight toe to toe with Thanos but geeks like Whiplash have given him trouble. Also, with Joker it isn't about physically beating him, it's more of a mental one.
This is why I love Marvels characters so much. They don’t have traditional cliche weaknesses. They have vulnerabilities, which makes them interesting to read
I mean, Superman has very much vulnerabilities holding himself to a proper standard when he's essensially a god among humans raised by a loving family. It doesn't come up often in the world level stories, but in the more down to earth human stories of Superman, he's very empathetic. He can hear so much pain and anguish across the world and he simply has to live with it. Superman Vs The Elite, based on the comic "What's so fun about Truth, Justice and the American Way" (have not read it) shows how Superman need to self police himself to be the best he can be. I love the characters of both Marvel and DC for being filled with interesting characters with vulnerabilities. It's kinda sad how Superman's more personal struggles are overshadowed by his god level strength in popular media.

I remember hearing once of a crossover between DC and Marvel that actually put certain characters against each other, including Batman and Captain America. Unlike the other match ups, however, that fight ended in a draw because neither one of them truly wanted to fight each other.
the problem with that series was half the books were written by DC half were written by Marvel. thus you have writers who make their guy come out on top. I also think that they had fan votes for who would win this particular fight etc. In the situation you mentioned. Bats says that it's conceivable that Cap could eventually beat him. but they never get that far and as you said their fight ended in a draw, Dunno if it was that the writer didn't want to tarnish the reputations of either character or not.
in that case it is not a draw its clear that batman wins the fight because captain america has super soldier serum but batman is all human with training and intellect yet it was a draw then who win in your opinion

I’m sure both brands didn’t want to make the their character seem bad. Cap’s ability to ADAPT absolutely will Not be enough to beat somebody with 127+ skills MASTERED . His raw strength and “I can do this all day” will power are his biggest advantages. Batman took punches from Deathstroke, Bane, Wonderwoman, Weakened Superman, Etc. So Cap’s strength isn’t a problem. Just look at the feats. Absolutely non-bias , Batman beats ALOT (almost every street tier) of people. I think he would high Diff Spidey but that’s a different talk for a different day

I read some where that they listed 3 forms, and if you used these as a baseline to figure out the average years it would take to master M.A.'s then multiply that by all 127, he'd have to be over 600 years old. But again this is a comic book universe so we can ignore the facts on how long it would take to master a martial art, let alone 127 of them. Unless he has an Eidetic Memory, then that would be impossible. Also the crossover comic was written by a guy who works(dunno if he did at the time) for both Marvel and DC. He has an understanding of the two characters and i would surmise that both companies would have had to ok the way the characters were written before they went to print. I honestly couldn't care less if he could be beaten by Cap or not, but the particular comic that was brought up, it was stated in it that, and i requote it, "Bats says that it's conceivable that Cap could eventually beat him." and as i stated above, we never get to that stage.

I actually thought they would put some thought into this. How wrong. Hulk - Tranquilizer in drink. Keep him sleeping. Put him somewhere and just keep him asleep. Over and over. Black Widow - Hand to hand, it's close but he wins. Full on with everything it's a long fight. Could go either way honestly. Batman edge because of his ability to learn about his opponent. Hawkeye - Good argument. Ant-Man - Depends on how much he knows. With no prep in a death match - Ant-Man Pym wins. With prep and knowledge of Pym Bat Tech specifically designed to stop Pym would give Batman the win. Lang. Ant-Man would lose once Batman figured out what was happening. He just would. A la If Falcon could see him and Iron Man could remove him from his suit, Bats could figure out how to neutralize him. Probably with pepper spray or something similar. Sorry. In Man of Steel #3, Batman had almost no knowledge of Superman and had only read about him. Having to go to Metropolis, he prepped a suit that was designed to detect super-dense material. This was to keep Superman from touching him, once he made the Man of Steel aware that a bomb would go off somewhere in the city if he did. If he could design that early in his career, he could design something to detect tiny living tissue - Ant-Man or the Wasp. It could set off an electrical charge if they enter his space, rendering them unconscious. Or dead. I don't know Wasp's tolerance to electricity but the targeted laser would do the trick. See next. Quicksilver could get a lot done if he just showed up and did the deed. But he would probably talk a lot and show off a bit. So a mild laser array in Bats' suit triggered by anything going faster than 250 mph could potentially give Pietro a reason to get to a hospital or totally ruin his day. Targeting systems' speed are rather incredible these days. I almost forgot. For Falcon, he would try to engage him in a ground fight by finding his radio frequency and talking him down. Then, he would ninja surprise him and take him out.
Vision? Outsmarting him would definitely be the way to go. Perhaps a logic bomb or simply presenting him with a choice that he knows Vision, acting human, will follow to get him to go elsewhere. I don't know that an emp would work on him. Lastly, the Scarlet Witch. Here, as seen in WandaVision, the strategy Batman used with Ace wouldn't work. Ace really just wants to be treated well and left alone. Wanda has had massive trauma in the comics and the film and tv shows. Batman would have a conversation with her. But it would be a different one than he would have with Ace. Think Superman's conversation with Dr. Manhattan but appealing to her own self-awareness as a human being so that she makes the decision to stop whatever she is doing to mess things up. So, different from the conversation with Ace but ultimately not so different. With Zatanna and possibly Constantine as backups. There you have it. My version of what Batman could do to take out the Avengers.

A lot of the batman scenarios really do rely heavily on “with prep and money, anything is possible” Course the same applies in reverse. Any of the avengers I’m aware of could quite easily beat iron man with some prep. Or none, given you’d basically just have to tell quicksilver or thor Bruce is at a party and to smack him really hard.

The whole "kill him while he's Banner" just wouldn't work because we're talking about a vs battle, not a comic where the writer has freedom to write bs wank. Banner can survive lethal damage and transform withing an instant. Hulk would just punch him once and it's GG.

His character is the archetype of the ACTUAL good of all mankind, so he is written as an ordinary man who has trained himself to overcome the greatest of adversities. If Batman lost to Tony stark, then a hero who sacrifices himself for the innocent and downtrodden would lose to an abusive drunk. It doesn't matter what Batman's skills are... what matters is the archetype of his character. A story about Batman losing to Tony Stark would essentially be a story about YOU (because Batman is written to be the everyman, the ideal that a normal human could hope to achieve, a standin for the reader the likes of which an invincible god like Superman could never be) getting beaten up by an annoying, mysoginistic jock. It doesn't matter if Tony COULD beat Bruce... what matters is the character archetype. Batman is not supposed to lose, because when Batman loses, you lose.

He’s just a regular peak human but he’s supposed to possess all of this knowledge and have skills along with experience in all of these fighting styles. Cap actually has more experience than Batman but is written as the “against all odds” unrealistic character. Thor, Quicksilver, Wanda, and especially Hulk would kill Batman with no issues and Cap would handicap Bruce. A speedster moves at the speed of human realization. The eyes and brain wouldn’t pick up in time enough to react even if we anticipate.

Iron Man wouldn’t be taken out with an emp because his suit isn’t powered by electricity but by the electromagnetic battery in his chest. The emp blast would only turn into energy for the suit to recharge.
Something to note about Iron Man is that he can remote control a suit. So if Batman got the drop on him, what would stop Tony from just flying away to a safe location and send a suit? And if Batman somehow beats it....Tony could send another? And if Batman somehow was able to reach Tony in that location, Tony could just fly away with another suit. Tony has just too many advantages even if he's caught off guard.

Some flaws in this: Antman & Wasp can both go subatomic in the films and pass though anything while doing so. Thor wouldn't be affected by radion. He's not a New God, therefore he doesn't have that vulnerability. Not a flaw, but, at least according to Death Battle, Bats can indeed defeat Cap.
Well for Ant Man- he can use nanites, that can manipulate at a subatomic level, and fear toxins to force him to develop a combination of Megalophobia, the intense fear of large objects, and Vestiophobia, irrational fear of clothing, which will ensure that he won't shrink and forces him to take his suit off. As for Thor- Well pretty much he has no traditional weakness, but he is susceptible towards magic, like the time where he was instantly killed by a magic arrow shot to the chest before Odin revived him. Batman has a magical artifact installed in the Justice Buster which is called The Bind Of Veils, a relic created by the god Hephaestus, which binds the target in a illusion, leaving them frozen in place (kinda like genjutsus from Naruto), then there's the tooth of Jormungandr, which is capable of injuring or outright kill him, one can be found in a museum, in which it was stolen and given to Rhino, replacing his horn, and managed to take down Thor. Batman found the Bind of Veils from the black market, surely he can find a tooth of Jormungandr just as easily, and with those two combination I'm sure it will be effective of taking Thor down.

Yeah. Batman has the edge on a lot of justice leaguers because he's known them for years and they've trusted him enough to open up about stuff. He's taken time to prepare for them should they go rogue. This list also assumes that he'd get to take them out one at a time in a vacuum where none of the Avengers are alerted that someone is apparently hunting them down.
Batman isn't afraid to be a stalker. He'd find out about them whether they'd want him to or not. Batman figured out the OG JL's secret identities before they were even aware that he knew.
No batman figured out Martian man hunters weakness within minutes he can find out their weakness and shield is easily infiltrated and he’s skilled enough to pass as someone that’s supposed to be there
Finding out the Avenger's true identities isn't the hard part. Most are a matter of public record in universe. As for Batman's ability to "stalk". Batman couldn't even figure out that there were three different guys calling themselves The Joker, and most of the Avengers identities are a matter of public record. He somehow didn't know he had a kid for years. A teenager figured out his secret identity. You think Batman is gonna be able to counter Tony's stuff? Tony has tech that can rewrite his cellular structure. Pym can shrink and outgrow the universe itself and his A.I. has a habit of becoming more powerful and advanced than even him. People have tried kill Bruce Banner to avoid the hulk. It did not go well for them. Batman got his own satellite AI hijacked by Maxwell Lord and his back broken by a guy on super steroids. Batman is a great character and one of my favorites. But he wins because his name is on the book, just like every other comic character, and in a thought experiment, "because he's Batman" isn't gonna hold up to scrutiny.

Truthfully his biggest threat in the main avengers team would be Thor. After that it would be Stark. People think he's useless without his suit but it's not true. Cap is good but bats has fought superhumans of that caliber many times. But Hulk by far would be alot less of an issue then most people think. Its a psychological issue at heart and bats knows all about those. To tell you the truth I think he's got everybody but Thor and iron man.

Agree to disagree. Cap is a phenomenal fighter and can more than hold his own. Even against fighters with overall fighting knowledge. His strength, speed, agility, strategies and Inhuman stamina are incredible.

That's why I think that even though Bats would be a good match for Thor, Wonder Woman would be better. After all, in the Marvel/DC crossover, Wonder Woman was the ONLY other person to be able to lift and use Mjölnir against Thor.

Batman seems to be able to beat anyone with prep time that seems to be his power if you where to say he had one. He knows how to beat every member of the JLA even though there are a few he has no business beating.
I've seen a crossover where Bruce Wayne believed Steve Rogers would eventually beat him through pure endurance, so I believe a simple brawl isn't the answer. However, Batman's tech could supply several answers against Cap.
In that same issue, they fought for 2 days and Batman got a lucky punch in and knocked him out. Of course, the outcome was picked by the fans. 90s issue of the Amalgram Universe. It wasn't really that good.

I love Batman but he would stand very little chance in a straight up fight with Cpt America. Cap knows about as many fighting styles as Batman and even if we said they are on the same strength level, Cap's endurance and Stamina are on a completely different level.
If it was a straight up fist fight maybe, but that's not always how Batman operates. Cap is very smart, and a great tactician, but not enough to take down the Bat. They aren't equals, but Batman has taken down other characters significantly stronger than him such as Bane. I think in a straight up fight, Cap would win most of the time, but there would be a good few times Batman would win, thanks to his sheer intellect. This is in the pure combat department. Batman is a master of stealth, being able to sneak up on people with far better senses than Cap, such as Superman. Cap has very good senses, but he's not omniscient to his surroundings, and I am certain Batman could own Cap if he used his stealth tactics, something he could absolutely do. In a straight up fights, no stealth it anything, I think it's very possible Batman could win. He mastered an insane number of fighting styles, like Cap, and has intelligence far behind Cap, although Steve isn't dumb, he is actually very smart, but I just don't think he's near the Bat in the intelligence department. Still, Cap could very well beat Batman, they are actually surprisingly even in my mind. If could go either way a lot of the time. In a straight fight, Cap could definitely win, but throw in stealth, and gadgets, and Batman dominates. This is just my analysis though. I could be wrong. I'm just making my best guess. I'm interested in people giving me counter arguments, as long as it's not mean.

Strategically superior. He would figure out very early that steve can't be overpowered by him. He will implore a more strategic fight. Captain America will be hit and taken down from every angle... not even to mention the fact that he knows every single pressure point on the human body. Sure Steve's physique is durable but with the way batman can punch it's just impossible for Steve to just walk it off. So if they fought to the death, the bat wins. If they fought to apprehend the other. The possibility of Steve winning is a lot more possible.

The issue with the Hulk fight is the only way Batman could win is by sedating him and keeping him sedated, as the Hulk has shown to be able to respond to threats that Banner couldn't, even unconscious.

Knockout gas is the only real way to beat the Hulk. Any physical attack just makes him angrier and more powerful (although I suppose Superman could just keep punching him until he explodes). Also, "canon" is established and accepted history and philosophy; a "cannon" is a large bore ordnance.
There was a Hulk versus Batman crossover in 1981 written by Len Wein and wonderfully drawn by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez. If you can find it, really worth checking it out.
Yeah I remember this one. It had great art. It was a strange matchup for sure. It was kind of ridiculous that he could knockout the Hulk with gas from his utility belt. I remember when Doc Sampson was fighting the Hulk and ordered the army to fire the gas rounds at them. Both feel unconscious and one of the soldiers stated that Sampson knew that any gas strong enough to knockout the Hulk would be strong enough to kill him but still gave the order. The gas was able to seep into the pores so the Hulk couldn't avoid it. Normal gas wouldn't cut it. If it could knockout the Hulk, and possibly kill Sampson, then it would easily kill Batman.

Thor may be the toughest one on here especially considering how long he has lived, he may have learned more fighting styles than even Batman, perhaps some that are unknown to humans as well. Paired with tirelessness, strength, etc. Batman faces a tough hand to hand fight. Thors abilities make it even tougher.

Hawkeye's own intelligence is often overlooked, his being "Hawkeye", not in just arrow skills alone, but in his ability to anticipate opponents, what they'll do, where they'll be/go, and where he needs to fire an arrow to take them down. Tony, as a futurist, is able to anticipate what the future may be, create solutions for the problems of that future, and then figure out solutions to other possible futures, so that he always has a solution to every problem. Pietro, in not being a Flash, but a mutant, would have other skills & abilities that the Flash wouldn't, so Batman wouldn't be able to anticipate every skill that Pietro as Quicksilver might have. Captain America as a Master strategist & tactician himself, would be by far Batman's toughest opponent, coming up with ways to defeat Batman's strategies, some of them likely by freeing his teammates from Batman's takedowns & then tackling his opponents together if need be. Steve Rogers with decades of fighting experience, and then his absolute peak human levels of reaction time, thinking, etc would enable Captain America to fight Batman for Batman to get tired.
Well one thing I thought about was many of the avengers defeating Batman in the same ways he himself would use, for example, unless he decides to live as Batman and surround himself with gadgets all the time, any of the avengers could probably surprise attack him when he’s just walking around as Bruce Wayne as he does on a daily basis. Also I kind of feel like there isn’t a anything antman couldn’t get into, since he can shrink himself to almost no limit, I doubt there’s a suit that can keep him out, besides Batman’s mouth is always exposed he could probably fly in there as a microscopic spec or smaller then enlarge himself while inside. Also, Tony was trained in hand to hand combat by some of the best fighters in Marvel, including Cap and Black Widow. So Tony without the suit (which suit, he’s had some that were contained within his body, and many can be remotely summoned) is more dangerous than just an ordinary person.

I hate the “Batman always wins” mantra. Batman is #1, my favorite hero of all time, and it’s because he loses. Loses to bane, Ra’s al Ghul, the joker. His stories are inherently the most compelling of any comic book because he doesn’t have superpowers and he does, in fact, lose a bunch. To quote the great Thomas Wayne “why do we get knocked down? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up” that’s Batman.
Like iron man, he has to be prepared for anything and learns how to beat his enemy. Tony isn't as good at strategy or survival, yet he can invent or pretty much make anything a weapon. So if he wanted to he could make a suit that knows fighting styles to beat Steve or Batman

More of these needed parallel ecamples to similar threats in DC otherwise they are just statements that Batman wins. Usually Banner turns into the Hulk when harmed. The best bet would be to launch Hulk in space. Batman would be a dangerous villain but I'm not sure he'd beat everyone. Black Widow was given pretty good odds to survive an attack regroup then work against Bats. The best he has in these scenarios is surprise. Batman is my favorite hero but saying he can beat everyone isn't necessary. Also Batman loses to villains all the time so it's a good chance he'd lose to at least one avenger. My money is on Black Widow for skill, Hawkeye for being underestimated or Hulk because he attacks Banner.
Batman has plot armor. He does just win because that's how thick his defense is.

I feel like Spider-Man would be a really tough fight for Batman. His weaknesses aren’t that obvious when fighting him. He doesn’t need to swing or stick to walls to be a tough fight because in combat, he can definitely handle himself with some of the strongest in Marvel and DC. And his Spider-Sense could save him from anything he can’t handle.

This is why I love Marvels characters so much. They don’t have traditional cliche weaknesses. They have vulnerabilities, which makes them interesting to read
I mean, Superman has very much vulnerabilities holding himself to a proper standard when he's essensially a god among humans raised by a loving family. It doesn't come up often in the world level stories, but in the more down to earth human stories of Superman, he's very empathetic. He can hear so much pain and anguish across the world and he simply has to live with it. Superman Vs The Elite, based on the comic "What's so fun about Truth, Justice and the American Way" (have not read it) shows how Superman need to self police himself to be the best he can be.
I love the characters of both Marvel and DC for being filled with interesting characters with vulnerabilities. It's kinda sad how Superman's more personal struggles are overshadowed by his god level strength in popular media.

I remember hearing once of a crossover between DC and Marvel that actually put certain characters against each other, including Batman and Captain America. Unlike the other match ups, however, that fight ended in a draw because neither one of them truly wanted to fight each other.
the problem with that series was half the books were written by DC half were written by Marvel. thus you have writers who make their guy come out on top. I also think that they had fan votes for who would win this particular fight etc.
In the situation you mentioned. Bats says that it's conceivable that Cap could eventually beat him. but they never get that far and as you said their fight ended in a draw, Dunno if it was that the writer didn't want to tarnish the reputations of either character or not.
in that case it is not a draw its clear that batman wins the fight because captain america has super soldier serum but batman is all human with training and intellect yet it was a draw then who win in your opinion

Batman took punches from Deathstroke, Bane, Wonderwoman, Weakened Superman, Etc. So Cap’s strength isn’t a problem. Just look at the feats. I read some where that they listed 3 forms, and if you used these as a baseline to figure out the average years it would take to master M.A.'s then multiply that by all 127, he'd have to be over 600 years old. But again this is a comic book universe so we can ignore the facts on how long it would take to master a martial art, let alone 127 of them. Unless he has an Eidetic Memory, then that would be impossible.
Also the crossover comic was written by a guy who works(dunno if he did at the time) for both Marvel and DC. He has an understanding of the two characters and i would surmise that both companies would have had to ok the way the characters were written before they went to print.
I honestly couldn't care less if he could be beaten by Cap or not, but the particular comic that was brought up, it was stated in it that, and i requote it, "Bats says that it's conceivable that Cap could eventually beat him." and as i stated above, we never get to that stage.

I actually thought they would put some thought into this. How wrong. Hulk - Tranquilizer in drink. Keep him sleeping. Put him somewhere and just keep him asleep. Over and over. Black Widow - Hand to hand, it's close but he wins. Full on with everything it's a long fight. Could go either way honestly. Batman edge because of his ability to learn about his opponent. Hawkeye - Good argument. Ant-Man - Depends on how much he knows. With no prep in a death match - Ant-Man Pym wins. In Man of Steel #3, Batman had almost no knowledge of Superman and had only read about him. Having to go to Metropolis, he prepped a suit that was designed to detect super-dense material. This was to keep Superman from touching him, once he made the Man of Steel aware that a bomb would go off somewhere in the city if he did. If he could design that early in his career, he could design something to detect tiny living tissue - Ant-Man or the Wasp. It could set off an electrical charge if they enter his space, rendering them unconscious. Or dead. I don't know Wasp's tolerance to electricity but the targeted laser would do the trick. See next. Quicksilver could get a lot done if he just showed up and did the deed. But he would probably talk a lot and show off a bit. So a mild laser array in Bats' suit triggered by anything going faster than 250 mph could potentially give Pietro a reason to get to a hospital or totally ruin his day. Targeting systems' speed are rather incredible these days. I almost forgot. For Falcon, he would try to engage him in a ground fight by finding his radio frequency and talking him down. Then, he would ninja surprise him and take him out.
Vision? Outsmarting him would definitely be the way to go. Perhaps a logic bomb or simply presenting him with a choice that he knows Vision, acting human, will follow to get him to go elsewhere. I don't know that an emp would work on him. Lastly, the Scarlet Witch. Here, as seen in WandaVision, the strategy Batman used with Ace wouldn't work. Ace really just wants to be treated well and left alone. Wanda has had massive trauma in the comics and the film and tv shows. Batman would have a conversation with her. But it would be a different one than he would have with Ace. Think Superman's conversation with Dr. Manhattan but appealing to her own self-awareness as a human being so that she makes the decision to stop whatever she is doing to mess things up. So, different from the conversation with Ace but ultimately not so different. With Zatanna and possibly Constantine as backups. There you have it. My version of what Batman could do to take out the Avengers.

Something to note about Iron Man is that he can remote control a suit. So if Batman got the drop on him, what would stop Tony from just flying away to a safe location and send a suit? And if Batman somehow beats it....Tony could send another? And if Batman somehow was able to reach Tony in that location, Tony could just fly away with another suit.

Some flaws in this:
Antman & Wasp can both go subatomic in the films and pass though anything while doing so.
Thor wouldn't be affected by radion. He's not a New God, therefore he doesn't have that vulnerability.

Well for Ant Man- he can use nanites, that can manipulate at a subatomic level, and fear toxins to force him to develop a combination of Megalophobia, the intense fear of large objects, and Vestiophobia, irrational fear of clothing, which will ensure that he won't shrink and forces him to take his suit off.
As for Thor- Well pretty much he has no traditional weakness, but he is susceptible towards magic, like the time where he was instantly killed by a magic arrow shot to the chest before Odin revived him. Batman has a magical artifact installed in the Justice Buster which is called The Bind Of Veils, a relic created by the god Hephaestus, which binds the target in a illusion, leaving them frozen in place (kinda like genjutsus from Naruto), then there's the tooth of Jormungandr, which is capable of injuring or outright kill him, one can be found in a museum, in which it was stolen and given to Rhino, replacing his horn, and managed to take down Thor. Batman found the Bind of Veils from the black market, surely he can find a tooth of Jormungandr just as easily, and with those two combination I'm sure it will be effective of taking Thor down.

Truthfully his biggest threat in the main avengers team would be Thor. After that it would be Stark. People think he's useless without his suit but it's not true. Cap is good but bats has fought superhumans of that caliber many times. But Hulk by far would be alot less of an issue then most people think. Its a psychological issue at heart and bats knows all about those. To tell you the truth I think he's got everybody but Thor and iron man.

Agree to disagree. Cap is a phenomenal fighter and can more than hold his own. Even against fighters with overall fighting knowledge. His strength, speed, agility, strategies and Inhuman stamina are incredible.

I've seen a crossover where Bruce Wayne believed Steve Rogers would eventually beat him through pure endurance, so I believe a simple brawl isn't the answer. However, Batman's tech could supply several answers against Cap.
In that same issue, they fought for 2 days and Batman got a lucky punch in and knocked him out. Of course, the outcome was picked by the fans.

I love Batman but he would stand very little chance in a straight up fight with Cpt America. Cap knows about as many fighting styles as Batman and even if we said they are on the same strength level, Cap's endurance and Stamina are on a completely different level.

If it was a straight up fist fight maybe, but that's not always how Batman operates. Cap is very smart, and a great tactician, but not enough to take down the Bat. They aren't equals, but Batman has taken down other characters significantly stronger than him such as Bane.
I think in a straight up fight, Cap would win most of the time, but there would be a good few times Batman would win, thanks to his sheer intellect. This is in the pure combat department.
Batman is a master of stealth, being able to sneak up on people with far better senses than Cap, such as Superman. Cap has very good senses, but he's not omniscient to his surroundings, and I am certain Batman could own Cap if he used his stealth tactics, something he could absolutely do.
In a straight up fights, no stealth it anything, I think it's very possible Batman could win. He mastered an insane number of fighting styles, like Cap, and has intelligence far behind Cap, although Steve isn't dumb, he is actually very smart, but I just don't think he's near the Bat in the intelligence department.
Still, Cap could very well beat Batman, they are actually surprisingly even in my mind. If could go either way a lot of the time. In a straight fight, Cap could definitely win, but throw in stealth, and gadgets, and Batman dominates.
This is just my analysis though. I could be wrong. I'm just making my best guess. I'm interested in people giving me counter arguments, as long as it's not mean.
@@michaelgillespie9112 Thank you. Plus Steve doesn't know nearly enough martial arts as batman. 127 martial arts and 56 types of escape techniques (don't know the proper term). Tactically superior. Strategically superior. He would figure out very early that steve can't be overpowered by him. He will implore a more strategic fight. Captain America will be hit and taken down from every angle... not even to mention the fact that he knows every single pressure point on the human body. Sure Steve's physique is durable but with the way batman can punch it's just impossible for Steve to just walk it off. So if they fought to the death, the bat wins. If they fought to apprehend the other. The possibility of Steve winning is a lot more possible.
I do have to disagree with the emp angle for Ironman, as most of his armors are basically nuclear powered, not by a conventional battery.
EMP fries electronics, it would work against ironman.

The issue with the Hulk fight is the only way Batman could win is by sedating him and keeping him sedated, as the Hulk has shown to be able to respond to threats that Banner couldn't, even unconscious.

Batman has could employ Jokor's laughing toxin if it's a part of his regular kit, and if it isn't he'd need to know prior. But then if he know's prior then we have the famous "Batman planning time" in which case he'll definitely win.

Knockout gas is the only real way to beat the Hulk. Any physical attack just makes him angrier and more powerful (although I suppose Superman could just keep punching him until he explodes).
Also, "canon" is established and accepted history and philosophy; a "cannon" is a large bore ordnance.
With iron man, bat man could never be certain he wasn't dealing with an empty suit!

Yeah I remember this one. It had great art. It was a strange matchup for sure. It was kind of ridiculous that he could knockout the Hulk with gas from his utility belt. I remember when Doc Sampson was fighting the Hulk and ordered the army to fire the gas rounds at them. Both feel unconscious and one of the soldiers stated that Sampson knew that any gas strong enough to knockout the Hulk would be strong enough to kill him but still gave the order. The gas was able to seep into the pores so the Hulk couldn't avoid it. Normal gas wouldn't cut it. If it could knockout the Hulk, and possibly kill Sampson, then it would easily kill Batman.

Thor may be the toughest one on here especially considering how long he has lived, he may have learned more fighting styles than even Batman, perhaps some that are unknown to humans as well. Paired with tirelessness, strength, etc. Batman faces a tough hand to hand fight. Thors abilities make it even tougher.

Hawkeye's own intelligence is often overlooked, his being "Hawkeye", not in just arrow skills alone, but in his ability to anticipate opponents, what they'll do, where they'll be/go, and where he needs to fire an arrow to take them down. Tony, as a futurist, is able to anticipate what the future may be, create solutions for the problems of that future, and then figure out solutions to other possible futures, so that he always has a solution to every problem. Pietro, in not being a Flash, but a mutant, would have other skills & abilities that the Flash wouldn't, so Batman wouldn't be able to anticipate every skill that Pietro as Quicksilver might have. Captain America as a Master strategist & tactician himself, would be by far Batman's toughest opponent, coming up with ways to defeat Batman's strategies, some of them likely by freeing his teammates from Batman's takedowns & then tackling his opponents together if need be. Steve Rogers with decades of fighting experience, and then his absolute peak human levels of reaction time, thinking, etc would enable Captain America to fight Batman for Batman to get tired.

Well one thing I thought about was many of the avengers defeating Batman in the same ways he himself would use, for example, unless he decides to live as Batman and surround himself with gadgets all the time, any of the avengers could probably surprise attack him when he’s just walking around as Bruce Wayne as he does on a daily basis. Also I kind of feel like there isn’t a anything antman couldn’t get into, since he can shrink himself to almost no limit, I doubt there’s a suit that can keep him out, besides Batman’s mouth is always exposed he could probably fly in there as a microscopic spec or smaller then enlarge himself while inside. Just my thoughts 🤷♂️
Batman has dealt with shrinking abilities before. That person is called 'atom.' I'm 99 percent sure that batman has a plan to deal with him or anyone like him. Also, not every batsuit has a mouth hole.

BUT, that would require him to be ready for anyone at ALL times. So in my opinion while he might have, let’s say, a suit or gadget for all occasions, he can’t be wearing or have on his person ,everything all at once. Except for anti-shark spray. He never leaves home without it. 😆

Also, Tony was trained in hand to hand combat by some of the best fighters in Marvel, including Cap and Black Widow. So Tony without the suit (which suit, he’s had some that were contained within his body, and many can be remotely summoned) is more dangerous than just an ordinary person.

I hate the “Batman always wins” mantra. Batman is #1, my favorite hero of all time, and it’s because he loses. Loses to bane, Ra’s al Ghul, the joker. His stories are inherently the most compelling of any comic book because he doesn’t have superpowers and he does, in fact, lose a bunch.
To quote the great Thomas Wayne “why do we get knocked down? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up” that’s Batman.
In the Arkham Asylum graphic novel he loses and only survives because at the end his fate is decided by Harvey Dent's coin.
