A part of me was missing this last year without ToT
The crank case ventilator is called a pan-o-vac. You need to install the nozzle with the 45 angle facing away from flow. I also use a air pump one way check valve in the hose from the oil air separator. This system is so effective that I have destroyed a front crank seal. I have used a filtered air bleed into the top of the engine metered to 12psi vacuum. This system adds significant hp. Due to the partial vacuum created in the crank case. Pistons move air on both sides.

I'm using the same venturi fitting in my 335d bmw diesel....I installed a vibrant 1 way check valve in the line just to be safe and its been running strong for over a year now

I just got DPUK's billet intake, working on that side of the engine is unbelievably easy along with an uptick in performance. 5 minutes to tweak the timing.

the om606 has a really unique aggressive sound.
For the rivets for the duct in the front... Head to your local BMW dealership. They have black aluminum rivets that would be perfect for that.
Will you still use the intake for anything? Will you still make the routing to the air filter?

Just started watching the video but already want to reply that I'm super curious to the effectiveness of the venturi exhaust crankcase vent fitting. Might wanna use a big garbage bag that you fill with air, to see if it actually creates pressure lower than atmospheric. Read many negative stories about them on forums, even from people with wide open straight through muffler and backpipe setups

Dude i have been wanting to use an exhaust venturi for A LONG TIME. Please tell me how much vacuum draw it creates. I have always thought these are basically the cheat code for deleting crankcase pressure

I got... a recipe for what I call 'pasta bake' laying around
Let me just...
- Pour the entirety of a 24oz can of four cheese pasta sauce into a baking dish (i.e. a 9"x13" or 3-quart which is what I use for this)
- Boil a pot of water to cook 1 pound of noodles (favorite is penne) as per box directions
- Put 1 pound of ground beef in a pan, coat with a bit of bazil, oregano, and italian seasoning, cook until browned
- Add beef to sauce-filled pan (after getting rid of grease), stir
- Add noodles to result (after getting rid of excess water via colander), stir
- Add about half of a 1 pound bag of mozzarella cheese, plus a coating of parmasean (use best judgement, determines how much cheese is tasted; too much and it's all you'll taste), stir
- Wrap tinfoil over pan, bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes
- Done, condiment as desired

My 2 x om606's are under a week out from Sydney from the UK...and then I will share where the fully engineered top spec ones going. Japanese early 90's but nothing anyones done yet. That I know of.

Cook up some brisket burgers. They're sooo good.
You may regret venting the catchan into the exhaust, I did it on my m57, went back to an induction scavenge, it made it smoke out the exhaust. Not bad, but enough to be embarrassed at a stop light

Those lights look pretty good but when it comes to lighting the road those are pretty bad not to mention these will blind the upcoming traffic
