Management are writing people up in my building for not fixing the cherry picked slots even if we didn't cherry pick the slot. They say if you pick from that slot you own it.

Yeah okay as you have standards to make

@TheWarehouseSeries Yeah I told them it's just extra work and someone is going to get hurt over extending. They just brushed off anything about getting hurt. And told me don't be afraid to call out other orderfillers for not doing the right thing. So I'm supposed to get on others for cherry picking..... That is what management is for I'm just an associate and I feel like eventually that will cause a fight in the workplace. Very frustrating honestly.

@@WalMartPlus69 their job is to discipline, not yours. They just want to sit in the office

Alot of the people training couldnt stack in the pick. Now they're teaching their nonsense way of doing things. Its a sad carousel of turnover

Most of the managers at my building worked from the ground up at our warehouse, from area manager to process engineer. They know what the process' are and the life of the associate, which is a reason why our building is so successful. The culture and leadership from those managers it what makes the job way better. Managers should look to learn from their associates if they don't understand certain process'. Its wild to hear your experience and your experience with leadership definitely does not seem positive lmao

that incentive money has put me in a great position in life and im young and in good shape and i feel the work is very rewarding and motivating, so much of the mindset i have built for myself today came from orderfilling. My managers and leaders are great people, so everytime i see someone say how much they dreaded their work i understand to a certain extent but you have to make the most out of it for sure

This supervisor literally called me to the dock and said that he seen on the camera that somebody hit my pallet and caused it to fall over, but made me stop selecting and re build the pallet. Oh yea and it wasn't a delay either.

You can't change tasks? Most of the time you can change into "cleaning"

My warehouse is weird compared to most others. Our management actually cares and will help select if we need help. We also work 4 10s and have no mandatory overtime, it is all voluntary. I remember tje management looking at me like I was crazy when I asked them about mandatory overtime during my interview.

What i like about where i work is you just need a 100 percent six week average. I could be negative 10 one week but postive the next 5 weeks and my 6 week average would be fine if that makes sense.
