Went car shopping for my mom, she and I just test drove the Honda HRV, Toyota CHR and Mazda CX-30,
it’s not even close, don’t get me wrong they are all nice, but the Mazda was in a different class, even though it’s the exact price point. The base trim has almost all the features you want, the Cabin was noticeably quite from street noise,
I literally was afraid for my life when my mom took the HRV and CHR onto the highway, she floored the HRV and CHR trying to merge on, the CX-30 you can feel the horse power, never thought HP can be such a safety feature, I was impressed,
so yeah, we just walked out of the dealership today with the Mazda. I encourage ppl to just go test drive these cars,
before that she wanted a Toyota and the Honda was her 2nd choice, I had to convince her to try the Mazda, even showed her this video to show her it’s reliable, after test driving all the cars, she fell in love with the Mazda,

Hyundai is completely trash. Those sonatas are constantly drinking oil and needing engine replacements. Every other month, there is some kind of RECALL....How do I know? I work at the dealership....We have so many new cars and old Hyundai cars always coming in for a recall or the lack of oil. The worst I've seen is someone doing an oil change on Monday and by Wednesday, the customer was back at the dealership begging for oil....5 quarts of oil only lasted 2 days in that engine.....No way Hyundai is a reliable brand....NO WAY.....Maybe the GENESIS luxury division of Hyundai is reliable but I would stay very far away from the regular Hyundai/kia branded cars. I haven't seen too many problems with GENESIS so I would conclude that GENESIS might be more reliable and built better....

It's been around for a long time and yes it is at the top regarding reliability. It earned its spot, except that. Their cars are some of the most beautiful and the most reliable. Well I will say this... Ford is good with the trucks but it puzzles me why they can’t do the same for other vehicles.
What was it? Like... 7-10 years ago the trucks were supposedly really reliable. Now I’m not saying I don’t believe what people say it’s just I can’t say for sure. But my biggest question is... if u can make ur pickups reliable... why can’t u make the rest of ur products reliable.
    Lately?
From what I’ve heard... Ford products besides the obviously F150, are going downhill.
Nowdays ppl trash talk ram and dodge. But it seems to me Dodge has made a comeback. I see more challengers like way more challengers than chargers. The ram trucks have went up In popularity.
    I’m a dodge lover but I’m not a hypocrite.
But I have the feeling within the past 2 years that dodge has steadily made progress. But that’s just me being optimistic.
    But I’m all ears.
My guess is some ppl wish their favorite brands were still reliable and will defend it even if the truth might be that it’s reliability has gone down.
But I think if u really wanna determine reliability...
It depends on where u live, and if spare parts are more accessible vs areas where it may be more difficult. Plus prices differ from country to country.
And lastly... if u have enough space to pay for the repairs without have such a drastic negative effect on ur payments. But if u have plenty to spare, then u are good.

It's a shame Chrysler is known universally as an unreliable car, but It has earned that reputation. It's a shame because besides always ragging on Chrysler, I secretly root for them. They are the most willing to try things new and sometimes over the top like a 700hp minivan. That is totally ridiculous and is most likely unreliable, but damn. It is so awesome! I really want to drive one. I've always admired jeeps too. I would buy a jeep for sure if some other company made it. I feel like I'm rooting for the underdog as well.

So it’s “Por-shh” Not “Por-SHA” as the manufacturer says? “Hun-day” not “high-un-day”? :-) To get credibility when reporting, it’s so important to pronounce the names of the manufacturers being reported on, correctly. Porsche is a two syllable word. The “e” in German is always pronounced.

Though the list is somewhat true but not my kind of list. This is a like Middle class Rich list - the consumer who buys new or nearly new expect it run trouble free for the first 5-8 years of ownership and not lose much out when selling it. There could be other kind list - super rich list who rather care about exclusivity and not much about reliability.
Well my of kind of list are the cars that are 8 years or older , which can last another 5 or more years. Anything but Toyota would never make it to that list. There is no need to make a ranking cause there really is one brand.
