A beautiful, raw, and long awaited gift to those of us who often say, “They don’t make music like they used to.” Thanks for the goosebumps and excitement of hearing wonderfully-newborn nostalgic feels! Real music! No one since Van Morrison has done this! But it’s your own! Thank you! “Rock n roll-ya got soul.” See you in May!
Reality is always gonna be they DO make music like they used to. They just don't play it on the radio, cause the industry is, like any business, designed to make money: you can't get 40 yr old cynical blues artists to sign their royalties away like you can with 18yr olds who are desperate for recognition.
I absolutely love these guys!! I want to see them in concert!! I've always loved Van Morrison and when I heard Nathaniel Rateliff I was amazed!! Rock on & on & on!!!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again! I could listen to this guy sing all day and all night, It'll never get old for me, his unique voice is amazing, reminds me of Solomon Burke and Sam Cooke.
I think the sad bastard was camping out in my head when he penned these lyrics! This song especially and orhers are so real to me! Soooo looking forward to seeing them live in Madison.
You're not allowed to have Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats with Preservation Hall dudes... AT RED ROCKS?!?!?!?!?! It's not fair! lol Too friggin good!
Most times mates say "Hey Ive got this spare ticket....." I go along for the free night out. Never ever had someone offer me a spare ticket for a gig like this. I'd probably bite their arm off.
YES!! I put my name in a ticket lottery and I was able to purchase 2 tickets! Imagine my surprise when I received that phone call!!! They do a ticket lottery with some of the tickets so they are not all bought up by ticket re-sellers.
That's a great Amphitheater in which to see/hear nearly anyone! Red Rocks Amphitheater. Woo-hoo! (The amphitheater that has its own category 'amphitheater' that other amphitheaters are compared with in comparison).
Preservation Hall Jazz Band. I've heard them playing many times. Nice to see them accompanying Nathaniel Ratcliffe & The Night Sweats here. Nice match up.
I figure the NightSweats was Nathaniel's last shot at the music industry before he packed it in for lack of popular support. So glad he gave it that shot, I like his solo folk stuff but I would never have found it without the NightSweats.
This is what's all about making music! Love this tune! Thanks Nathaniel, Night Sweats and all the artists involved Cumps from Madeira Islands - Portugal!
Nathaniel's dance moves at 2:28 are comparable to Paul McCartney's in the video "Don't Let Me Down" at 00:38. Check it out folks and see for yourselves...
Unfortunately he suffered a seizure while touring, so he's taken some time off from the road. From what NR says, they're a big family so hopefully when Wesley gets better he'll start touring with them again

Hey hoe they absolutely still make music like this
The horns baby the horns. Love it
Yeah that Nate and crew include the brass in the whole song rather than just highlights is very satisfying.
First band that I have heard sound better live than on record - it's normally vice versa. Love them!
Love their Tiny Desk concert....did you see that?
Juy
Nathaniel giving everyone a kiss on the cheek before they go out is perhaps my favorite pre concert ritual I’ve ever seen any artist do
He seems, and from what I've read, to be a genuinely nice guy, and funny. Would love to meet them one day.

I’m thinking Van Morrison and Sam Cooke . His vocals are off the charts good .
Love it love it absolutely ________ love it

What an absolute showman!
Bravo!
Easily the best show I have ever seen. Hands. Down. (And I see a lot of shows) Would love to get the video of the entire show at some point.
I have tickets Nov 2nd at the Tabernacle in ATL. Can not wait
Pure heart! Can't get enough!
Need this whole concert.

So god damn good. What music should be!
I saw them on NCIS New Orleans. Have been hooked since.
The best gig I’ve ever been to, a band you must see 😉
Love the Preservation Hall Sousaphone!!!!
I wish I was there ❤️🙏🏼 Best thing that happened music in the last decade for sure
This is one of the very best concerts that I have EVER attended!!!
You were there?!?!?!?!?!
I'm so jealous
YES!! I put my name in a ticket lottery and I was able to purchase 2 tickets! Imagine my surprise when I received that phone call!!! They do a ticket lottery with some of the tickets so they are not all bought up by ticket re-sellers.
Unbelievable… thanks for such an inspiring show💕

Love love love this. This band lifts my spirits when I’m low. Thank you soooo much.
AAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL the goosebumps when that man takes the stage. Love these guys!
I would give so much to be at this show! Legendary
Oh my word....how did I not know he existed!
Oh man, this live album is going to be HOT SHIT. Cannot wait to get it in my ears.
Preservation Hall Jazz Band. I've heard them playing many times. Nice to see them accompanying Nathaniel Ratcliffe & The Night Sweats here. Nice match up.
You know a band's tight when the Preservation Hall is willing to back them...
I figure the NightSweats was Nathaniel's last shot at the music industry before he packed it in for lack of popular support. So glad he gave it that shot, I like his solo folk stuff but I would never have found it without the NightSweats.
You just make me happy!
What a beautiful place and of course this song!😍
Thanks for sharing
This is what's all about making music! Love this tune!

So great! Can't wait to hear the entire album.

I wanted to go to this so bad.
I frickin' dig this band... :)
Love love ❤️
I NEEEED to see ya'll before i die!!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best blues the Amish has to offer.
ON FIRE!!!
Nathaniel's dance moves at 2:28 are comparable to Paul McCartney's in the video "Don't Let Me Down" at 00:38. Check it out folks and see for yourselves...
I don't normally like a video in the first ten seconds.. but when I do, there is usually a killer horn section intro.
Music is alive and well!
Genial aplaudir de pie !!!
This band KICKS ASS!!!!!
WELCOME HOME!!!!
OK, don't judge the video by the first 3:20 minutes... start there and it rocks!!!!
Has a "VanMorrison" sound...very fine!
Van Morrison with some country-blues-funk
Anyone one know the name of the instrumental Preservation does at the start?
What language is this one sung in? It's hard to tell.
What do the jackets say? Probably isnt what i thought. Great song though
Was wondering that myself...looks like International Dickweed to me?
Son of a Bitch! When I need a pick me up or just want to feel music deep down inside, that makes your heart sing and your mind dance, I listen to you.
If the Blues Brothers and Chris Stapleton had a baby
Is the whole concert aviable on video somewhere?
Got my tickets for Nottingham
Is Wesley Watkins still Playing trumpet with the group
Unfortunately he suffered a seizure while touring, so he's taken some time off from the road.
From what NR says, they're a big family so hopefully when Wesley gets better he'll start touring with them again
Live album please? Please?
I need to know the story behind the “International Dickweed” shirts with the WGJR monogram 😂
I little taste of NOLA. Are you kidding me? Great song.
listen to the lion
Can't watch it in the UK? It's saying the video is unavailable.
Very similar to the Isley Brothers
Nice, good to know somebody can get this far without actually playing an instrument
WTF? Cant watch it in the UK?!!!
Reason enough to move across the pond!
