I love them all dancing along, but man that shuffle of Nathaniel here is fantastic!
What an amazing performance! The entire Roots band playing side by side with them they look like they were having so much fun. Imagine how much they were jamming during commercial breaks or just their rehearsals. Would love to see those moments.
One of their biggest fans here. You know how you play a cd and there might be some songs you don’t like. I only have two of their cd’s but love every song on both of them. ❤

This performance is what made me an instant fan! I've been blessed to see Nathaniel perform (with and without the Night Sweats) nine times since then!
I was acquainted with Nate and Joe (bass player) back in the day when they were in the band "Born In The Flood". Such good guys to hang out with at a party. I never knew Nate well, but Joe and I liked our chats. So wonderful to see them hit it big.
I just saw them last week for the first time and I'm dying to see them again.

I got to see Nathaniel and the night sweats at Leesburg Maryland farm aid concert. Before they hit the stage it had been an enjoyable laid-back afternoon watching the various artist, and no one was really moving around paying much attention, but it was a nice afternoon of music. I’ve never seen a crowd that size go from relaxed to jumping up and down clapping their hands stomping their feet, and just enjoying the night sweats so much , it was amazing !! The place was jumping!
Same in Hartford both times they played.

I had the tonight show on, but I was preoccupied with something else. After the song ended, I was like "wait... what the hell did I just hear?" Luckily, I was able to go back and watch it again and again and again. One of the best live performances I've seen on TV! I'm so glad that it ended up on TH-cam again.
This band has gotten me threw rough times for so many years thank you so much. So different yet reminds me of older bands. Keep doing you much love

You see The Roots members being parts of skits and doing the odd rimshot on The Tonight Show and it takes this to remind you that they are an incredible BAND. To fit in and accent the other band is not easy to do.
