2023 still kicking it listening to this awesome band, sing it Nathaniel !
30 years ago I bought a two-cassette box set called "Sam Cooke, the man and his Music". When I first heard this song I said to myself, "Why the HELL wasn't this song on that box set!!" Feeling robbed I looked at my Sonos and was shocked when it said Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats.
DAMN!! Like a Phoenix, Soul emerges from the ashes of boy-bands, smut-rock and pop-trash.
how the hell is the crowd not going ballistic??!! this song is such an awesome few minutes in ur life. to see these guys perform it live is absolutely is on my bucket list. Nathaniel Ratteliff can write music as sure as the sun comes up in the morning.

My husband and I had the great pleasure to see these guys play in September. They were terrific! I wish they would've played this but my goodness they were BEYOND!

I could be wrong, but I think he's on guitar (yellow guitar) here for some reason...looks like him. After having seen this and "I need never get old" from the same show, I'd say it's him...the way he moves forward and backwards confirms it for me.
