    spettacolare. Thank you for sharing your skill. You have some world class trees with a more modern natural look. Very good looking trees. Keep sharing with the world. Bonsai brings people together, allows forgiveness and enlighten us when life can give us challenges(bonsai can challenge as well like root aphids who looove my pine roots)
    Be well,
    Mats H

    Hey Mauro,
    How long do u keep the wire on a tree like this?

    Hey Mauro, I’ve heard from many professionals not to defoliate hornbeams completely(only do a partial defoliation) and to only do that every few years or it’s bad for the health of the tree. What are your thoughts? One of my Korean hornbeams got leaf burnt by the sun on parts of the tree. It is mid summer where I live should I defoliate the parts that got burnt? And if not what should I do?

      Hello Chris . Oriental is much stronger than korean . I do on corean in formation but when they get mature i do partial to not loose inner little branches . On privets and oriental I did every year in formation than when the tree is mature you can go partial if you want . Is always important to work on strong trees to have best response to interventions

    That's a lot of cut paste. Why cover the whole area instead of just the cambium?

    • @MauroStemberger
      @MauroStemberger  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Peter Bone to avoid wood rotting and protect from fungi diseases .

    • @YaroslavPronin

      @@MauroStemberger I had a case on an elm tree when wood under the paste began to rot (it looked like a white sponge). From that moment on I began to cover only the cambium. What could be the reason?

    • @MauroStemberger
      @MauroStemberger  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Difficult to tell
      But normally cut paste should prevent from rotting

    • @peterboneg
      @peterboneg 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MauroStemberger Don't you want some rotting on these large cuts so that they look more natural? BTW, a slight correction of spelling in your video. It's guy wire, not guide wire.

      Peter Bone i d like not because is difficult to stop rotting

    I don’t like that big branch on the left. It’s fat and bigger than the main trunk, which makes the tree look unbalanced.
