Thanks for the simple clear presentation. Two comments; This will be the second time replacing the silicon flapper seal. In my case they last about 3-4 years before a barely perceivable leak/water movement can be observed in the bottom of the bowl. This is a larger leak than one may think. Repair it immediately to prevent wasting water. Note: I only use Toto brand seals. Also not to be snide but your helper placed the tank cover directly on the plastic lid. The bottom of the lid is not covered with porcelain and will scratch the soft cover if not careful. Thanks again.
Thanks, bud, I just swapped mine and it stopped running through. First time swapping a disk flapper. This video helped me get it done in about a minute.
Thanks my friend. you are good explaining the plumbing solutions .I just subscribed to this channel. greetings from Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca , México . 👍
thanks for a good and concise explanation but where can I buy the silicone disc flapper?? I'm having problems finding it. I have a Toto Aquia III toilet.
Thank you, I am just beginning the project. We used the chlorine tablets that degraded our seals and got a $500 water bill. I will just continue to clean my own toilets.
I rotated the valve assembly about 45 deg to the right but it won't come out. In addition, it loosened the base, so now the toilet is leaking 10X as much. Is there a trick to rotating and removing the assembly or do I need to just smash it out with a hammer :-) ?
So my Toto toilet (same model as in this video) is leaking water into the bowl, not onto the floor. Is this the fix for it? Or is the leakage from somewhere other than the disk flapper?
I do have a toilet just like this one I replaced the disk flapper few months ago right now is leaking again, I've got a feeling is both the fill valve & flash valve , how do this if there's no room to do the repair, I have to pull the toilet or what ? thanks
Did you ever solve this problem? I have the same toilet and it is ridiculously hard to access the fill valve without taking the entire toilet off the floor.
Thank you for such a well written and easy to understand video. Everything you need, and nothing you don't. Perfect.
Excellent instructions! Very clear speaker.
Very straight forward easy instructions for us to understand! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you for this very helpful video - I was able to replace my Toto flapper in minutes !!😊

Where I can buy the pice?
Very helpful video, thanks so much! Just an FYI that the shut-off valve is turned clockwise (as shown).
Thanks for the instructions. So easy!
Do you have the part number for the flapper disc?

@how2plumb Awesome video. Do you have a link to buy that exact entire flush valve tower set? I can't seem to find it on the Toto website

I would rather prefer to find out what kind of seal gasket is needed and where to get it.

I changed it, but the water is still dripping into the toilet. Is the next step to replace the tower?
Same here!
Thank you for the video, I have exact system and it’s flushing water on its own ( not ghost flush), have no idea how to deal with it
i have same kind of toilet when after flus when water starts filling up it makes big hissing sound do you it will fix with flapper

Wait I'm confused. It looked like your helper was turning the knob at the angle stop clockwise?
I looked online, and there are so many different types of disk flappers. Do you know which model will fit this Toto flusher? Thanks.
