In this video we explore the famous Angkor Wat!
We show you how we go our tickets how much they cost and what temples we liked the most.
We decided to do the tour on our own with '"no transport" this ended up being a mistake as the Angkor Was city is far to big to walk to each temple.

Hello and welcome to our channel,
We are Reanne and Ben living in Portsmouth, England. We have been together from the age of 15.
We brought our first house together at 23, got married at 25 and Reanne started her own business at 27.
We have been wanting to travel the world for the last couple of year but covid put a stop to it.
The day has finally come we have sold our business and packed everything we own into storage, rented our house to explore as much of the world as we can in one year.
We created this TH-cam channel to share our adventure with everyone who wants to explore but don’t know how. Let us know what you think of our channel so leave a comment we’d love to hear from you x

Only mistake was not getting a Moto AKA a Tuk-Tuk for the day. We booked one for the whole day , picked us up in the morning and met us at various points throughout the day , then took us home. Really cheap as well. You don’t really need a guide , too much being dragged around on a schedule. The bridge you went over where you thought some statue heads were new (Angkor Thom entrance) is part of Hindu mythology and depicts the “Churning of the sea of milk” 👍
The image that everyone wants of the tree above the doorway at Tha Phrom was made famous by the Lonely Planet guidebook for Cambodia back in the day, they used it on the front cover.
It was really quiet when we went , had it all to ourselves , back then there were no barriers or walkways and much of the rebuilding hadn’t even begun. We were lucky and had an amazing sunrise over the main temples. 👍😘
Would definitely do that. Biggest regret was not planning this. Didn’t actually realise how big it was 😂 it’s incredible though

I loved seeing all these temples.
Its cool to see all of the huge trees too I dont think I have seen trees that big before.

Imo Cycling is the best way to get around all the Angkor temples and enjoy the temples and there’s not even 1 hill ..

Lovely piece of video as usual my friend and I see the temples, wall carvings, paintings, pillar carvings, buddha statues, small kiosks at the sites as well as on the way sides are almost same as the ones that you find in srikankan historical sites as well... 😊❤️

So, I want to fit Siem Reap in my destinations but it's complicated, the flights are expensive, they also are not direct flights, have 1 stop in and out of Siem Reap, so i'm gonna lose like almost a entire day if i really want to go there + the expensive flights. Be honest, in a 20 day trip, IS IT REALLY WORTH IT going to Siem Reap? Or I should choose more nearby/practical destinations? I would spend 2 days to visit Angkor Wat, Pub Street and the boat tour
Personally siem reap was our favourite place in Cambodia so I would say it’s definitely worth it are you spending 20 days in Cambodia?

Hello dear, as I was watching your trips in Seam Reap, Angkor Wat. You did a lot of walking. My suggestion for you next time. If you pay about $30.00 all day tours for the 3 wheelers cycle or Tuk Tuk, make deals with the drivers. Do not give all of you fee for deal. Pay at end of the day. Get the Tuk Tuk phone # he will drop you off and pick you up at every temple you see that day. Each temple take about one hour or less. All day the Tuk Tuk driver will drop you off and pick you up at each temple. You will be able to see a lot of temples in one day then walk. It is the big square kilometer in the jungle that you cannot walk even one week. Make deal with the Tuk Tuk driver, take pictures of his license plate, take his picture IDENTIFICATION, by asking permission for your records, something the hotel personnel at the reception can help. Also mention that you had list the name of that hotel, and name of the one who helped you. You day will go easier and the next day can hide that same Tuk Tuk driver for whole day or halo day again to different locations in Seam Reap. From hotel to and back safe with one driver fast. 🌾🌸☘️🌿👍✅

Wicked place Ankor Wat ..When we went there was 12 of us and it cost 50 for the whole day including lunch and water....Don't know if you noticed the cellphone tower disguised as trees...thought that was so good....

Tuk Tuk is definitely a great idea to travel between temples, you can see more temples that way. I didn’t know that you can order Tuk Tuk with Passapp if you are already in Angkor Wat. This is a great tip.

It would help if India and every countries as well as people that pass by Thailand and Cambodia in the past few centuries came out with their passed on historical evidences to show and share the culture influences through time between the two nation. The culture and traditions bickering currently just made both country looked as bad as one other and where many Cambodian are struggling to accept that the temple is of Hindu designed. Though, so far as proved it goes that the Khom heritage & its people in the old day can’t hardly be related to the majority of Cambodian people in Cambuchar today. The bloodline of Cambodian at the time was brought in at that point as laborers work force for the true originator residency’s who was the real creator of the Ancient Angkor empires. Hence, the suspicion on the inability to renovate Angkor wat themselves spoke strongly for the case. It’s funny how the India have to take on the job. Its seems the trade in craftsmanship passed down to the present Cambodian today hasn’t at all been inherited through their children for thousands & thousands of years in the same way as any normal circumstances - where human revolutionaries skilled standard should. Now this is extremely unusual.
Cambodia, I've been to 1 time, the country is deceitful, the worst country I've ever been to, I don't think about going again, it makes me feel bad.
If it's a Thai person, they will ask for money 2-3 times more than you, everything has to be paid and fraud. only me accomodation He didn't let my friend in. And why would I rent? The entire floor, 35 rooms, the next day I was fired. Without refund, rent 300000 + insurance fee 500000, I did not return even a single baht.
