I love the tired comment “I pulled over I don’t know where”. That is the best. On the road and just pulled over because your are sacked. What a life.
Haha. It is nice. You stop at one rest stop, you’ve stopped at them all. I have my GPS track where they are. So I see how far away one is and measure to my tired level. Gets scary when I’m tired and the one I want is full - then the other is like another 30-60 miles - by the time I get there - no clue where I am - just tired and crash!
I Have to say I Usually Dont post comments BUT I do watch most of your videos and am entertained by them. I drive a tractor trailer for a food chain company in MD. The other day i was crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on my way to our Delaware stores and I looked over once I was on the Eastern Shore section I saw a Prevost in the traffic. I called my wife and told her I think I just saw that guy and his Prevost I keep telling you about. I said I didnt think you travelled over this way but who knows. Then I saw this video And I suppose it was you and your family. Your front shades were pulled down uneven and you were in the middle lane with a tractor trailer on your left but your coach stood out. All i can say is good for you. I am looking forward to retiring and hitting the road in a coach when i do. B.T.W. it was the night before Christmas video that stands out. When you lost it with the toilet stuff. I told the wife I never hear him get upset!!! Enjoy your trips.....
Haha - that night fixing that toilet was crazy! Glad you liked it. If traffic was rolling slow and headed toward the sun it was me. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Definitely put the Soft Start install on this channel. It's RV related.
I've never seen a motorhome that didn't need any repairs or upgrades, nor anyone who ever got everything on their punchlist done. Lol.
Ha! Just as I said that I remembered the aquahot needed help - it’s intermittent- so hard to fix. I will post that video soon - still in the process. I did that other channel because my watch history shows all the views on the travel videos. Once I post something different, I only get 100-300 views and that hurts this channel - TH-cam says quit sending out, nobody’s watching. So the strategy is to mention those videos in the camp prevost channel - then a low view count won’t hurt this one. All a TH-cam game. They promote and push videos people click on and watch - so trying to keep the lower count on another channel. Who knows though!
@CampPrevost since the view counts are cumulative, removing any content wouldn't help. Seems like they are advising that your other content just has better count results per video. That doesn't mean the lower count ones are hurting your overall results, plus they contribute to the "feel" of your content.
I have seen creators get lost in the weeds by posting everything in their lives, losing viewers by overwhelming the channel with things that don't interest them.
I agree that some of your viewers watch for 1. Prevost mototorhome, and 2. Travel, but many of us also watch because of 3. Upgrades, 4. Repairs/Service/Products and 5. DIY.
The other channel would be good for your other projects like Jet Skis, and other completely non-RV videos.
Hopefully, you'll keep all the Prevost stuff here. I like the repairs / updates / changes.
Will see - nobody watching on that channel either. If I look at my video history most people watch the travel. When I do a battery or different video, I get 100-300 views - then TH-cam kind of says - well this channel sucks and doesn’t push out the next. So the strategy is to post on another channel and mention it’s up in the camp prevost - so it doesn’t hurt the view count. It’s all a game - fun in of itself.
Sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family
Well thank you, it’s appreciated. He was the youngest of 12. My father was the oldest - we lost him 6 years ago. Only the good die young takes on a new meaning.
I like your video's!
Thanks!
Love the coach, you maintain it absolutely beautifully. Keep the vids coming. Let's get on the road and see the USA
Thanks!
Love watching that bus rolling down the highway 😁😁definitely liked the downhill portion learned a few things there since I haven’t taken mine down any grades like that yet.
Would be interesting to see differences in the retarder and engine brake.
Thanks for the road trip I enjoy watching I drove tractor trailer for 28 years and I just love traveling.Sorry for your lost and maybe one day I can get one.
Thank you. Never stop dreaming - that’s half the fun and gives you something to work towards. I really believe that if you want something, keep that feeling and work towards it and it will come. Only hope it meets your expectations when you get it!
I did drive charter bus for awhile and it was a Prevost bus .
Don't sell the bus. You will miss it something awful. Take my word for it. I miss mine everyday!
Agree - I want a little break and then get one that needs work - maybe an X….
I'm definitely going to consult with you on upgrades once I purchase my class A hopefully this year. Great channel 👏🏽
Works for me!
Great video as always. If you ever run out of content you could always do a trip up here to AK.
That would be fun!
enjoy your bus videos
Thanks!
Shame you didn't trek to OC boardwalk for a brew at sunset with crab cakest; would have beat that auction.
Ha - bet your right!
Hello, you are leaving out the most important parts, at lease for me, the pulling in and out of all the fuel, rest, overnight stuff. The difficulties involved.Thanks.
Looks like you were on I-68 through western Maryland and WV by Cheat Lake/Morgantown WV. I know that road
Yes I was!
👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you
I'm trying to figure out first where you live. Then determine where you were going in the east coast. Love the front driving view you give us as you drive, lets have more of that. What's your name?
Indiana, chincoteage island, Washington DC. It’s Aaron
Nice video. What campground did you say at on the Chesapeake Bay?
Sun resort Chesapeake bay. It was really nice but bring your bug spray!
You need to be a bit more detail in your dialog. Where are you leaving from where are you going. What stops, names, of RV camp location etc. Difficulties involve for us RV and none RV types. Thanks.
I enjoy your travels. What year is your rig and what engine does it have. I am guessing series 60 either 11.1 or12.7. My transmission retarder is brake activated. I wonder if that is something that can be set up to come on without brake application. I dont have a transmission temperature gauge which I think would be very desirable if you are using it for any length of time on a long grade.
It’s a 2000. It has the series 60 12.7. My comes on with out brakes but hits harder after I apply them. I have to use the Prevost computer and scroll through the screens to get the tranny temp to show - would think yours would do the same. Most of the time I leave it on the fuel consumption.
Thank you for the response. I have a 97 which was supposed to have the 12.7 but I think it got the last of the 11.1 versions. I would like to have transmission temp and brake temp gauges. Though the transmission retarder really makes a difference having to use the brakes to activate it makes me nervous about getting the brakes too hot when in the mountains or on long declines.@@CampPrevost I hope your wife will decide to keep the bus as you and your family seem to get a lot of use and joy from it.
Buy a new one? What would u buy a MCI?
Not sure, not familiar with them.
Thats animal cruelty, to take away baby horses away from their Mothers/family. Horses create incredible life long bonds with other horses
That’s what I thought
