This has been the strangest season of my Braves fandom. After Acuna went down I never imagined Atlanta making the playoffs, and definitely not up 2-0 on the Dodgers in the NLCS. Just wow
Yeah, this culture in Atlanta is def new and fresh. There's the youngsters, there's the years in the middle 2010's of dark nothingness, and then there's the leadership. These guys play for each other, but also for Snit. There have been several winning years in Atlanta where the Braves seemed to be all business. They had the talent and tradition - they went out and won series' and divisions and were a formidable foe for anyone seeking the pennant. Then, when it came to those tough, gutty games in the playoffs, it just seemed like other teams wanted it more. The Braves weren't hungry enough, fans seemed jaded, and inspiration was lacking. This year is so different.
The way Peterson looked at his bat before hitting the homer! Great game by Rosario, in the outfield and on offense! How did that ball get thru two gloves? Unreal! Also, great job by Washington knowing his players and sending them home

I am an Atlanta Braves fan. All I can say is that the Atlanta Braves have the best win loss record this 2021 postseason so far which makes the Braves only have one loss, but I do think that the Dodgers will probably come back and win the series against Atlanta and eliminate the Atlanta Braves out of the series.

Joc, we miss you and you are showing off your skills very well to make us regret ever letting you leave.
Snitker's quietly out-managing Roberts in this NLCS so far AND I'M LOVING IT! I may be a longtime Dodger fan, but man do I truly appreciate winning baseball like what I saw go down late in this game 😀! Rosario definitely has the look of a player who knows he might not get another crack at a WS after this season. Player of the game for me last night, basically kept the Dodgers from blowing this game out early on with an outstanding defensive play in LF. Should the Braves take this series, may they win it all!!! 👍👍

Yeah don't be talking about world series because it isn't over yet I don't want what happened last year to the Braves plz no we need our revenge from last year
I told people not to sleep on the Braves. Max is a monster but the Braves have seen him so much from his time on the Nats that I felt like they had somewhat of an advantage against him. Tbh I expected more out of Anderson and I think Snit should’ve let him pitch in the fourth but what’s done is done. All of the moves AA made are paying off in ways nobody could have imagined. Joc killing it in the postseason and Rosario coming in clutch when he was still on the IR when we got him. I hope we don’t take our foot off the gas and Morton can pitch a gem in the next game. Also Acuña being in the dugout two games in a row is huge and I love how you can still see his energy.
Braves remind me of the Ravens a bit Ravens are 5-1 with LOTS OF injuries they had to star players before seasons Look what the Braves had lost Acuna, and Ozuna and still went far
Think about this for a moment......if Soler had not tested positive for COVID, Rosario wouldn't have had that opportunity. Then it goes through two gloves. I say destiny, at least for this night.
@@chrissabine302 Rosario was already playing it's Joc who was inserted into the lineup but either way it's something because every since the Acuna blow it seems as if each acquisition we made has contributed. @@strikeout77777 I think he's gonna go 2 for 4 and drive in at least 1 run next game. My boy is too good to slump for long, im with you on that contact to move the runner up could very well break him out of that slump
Dave Roberts obviously respects Freddie regardless of his "bad slump". With Kenley Jansen on the mound in the 8th he could have intentionally walked Eddie Rosario (1B was open) to pitch to Freddie. He didn't.
I hope people now realize that the Braves are a lot better than their 88-win total would indicate. The Braves record looks bad primarily because they didn't start the season well. They were below .500 going in to the All-Star Break, and lost Soroka, Acuna, and Ozuna. But, the front office made some good moves at the trade deadline, and the Braves had a very strong second half of the season, and they've carried that into playoffs. The series is still far from over, but Atlanta deserves more respect than they currently get. Even the Giants couldn't beat the Dodgers in back-to-back games in their series.
As a Dodgers fan, i gotta give if to the Braves. They are showing to be a resilient team that are not at all intimidated by the Dodgers and reveal the grit of the South. May the best team win.
Good job Braves 👏, 2 more to go to the World Series, I'm proud of you guys because your Spring Training at Disney World is near to my house, don't stop keep forward.
I've just been thinking how many great moments there have been already for the Braves in this postseason: The Pederson bomb vs. Milwaukee, Freddie's 8th inning go-ahead HR that iced it in game 4, the walk off in game 1 vs. LA, and now another in game 2 via some absolutely HUGE plays (and ANOTHER Pederson HR that went even farther). As a Braves fan who's suffered through tremendous heartbreak over the last 25 years, it would be incredible to see this team finally get past the Dodgers, win it all and break the curse. Because the curse is real. Just ask Red Sox or Cubs fans. I can't imagine what they went through. 26 years is a long time, but 86? 108? Heck, the Indians are in the midst of a 73-year drought and there are plenty of other teams with longer ones than the Braves (Pirates @ 41 years, Orioles @ 37, Tigers @ 36, Mets @ 34, Athletics @ 31, Reds @ 30, Twins @ 29, Blue Jays @ 27). Last year I got super nervous when they went up 3-1 because I knew what could happen, and ultimately, it did. It was simultaneously expected, and yet still unbelievable at the same time. It was probably the worst I've ever felt watching Braves baseball. Crushing. I know it's just a game, and there are so many other things in life more important than grown men running around bases, but man this year feels different. Don't break our hearts again, Braves. FINISH them.

Go Braves! That last play illustrates why the check swing that ended the last series was terrible. The Dodger defense chokes at the end of games, so you just never know what could happen.
I can't believe they scored that as a hit. SMH.

But regardless of you beating us, I will always remember the 2020 how you have contributed to our World Series and you are the reason why even if Dodgers lose the series to the Braves, I will support the Braves in the World Series for your success and for you to have a title with the Braves as well. The Dodgers have to regret letting him go to the Cubs.....
👍👍
Ron Washington has really cold blood to make that call sending Rosario home in that liner

@@Mrbread.144 bro ur the biggest dodgers hater band wagon I have ever seen ur last comment was “as a giants fan” like bro ur a horrible fan
Braves remind me of the Ravens a bit
Ravens are 5-1 with LOTS OF injuries they had to star players before seasons
Look what the Braves had lost Acuna, and Ozuna and still went far
Think about this for a moment......if Soler had not tested positive for COVID, Rosario wouldn't have had that opportunity. Then it goes through two gloves. I say destiny, at least for this night.
@@chrissabine302 Rosario was already playing it's Joc who was inserted into the lineup but either way it's something because every since the Acuna blow it seems as if each acquisition we made has contributed. Ron Washington was looking like got darn right 😂🤣
Of all 6 games in this NLCS I think this is my favorite. Both teams brought it.
Man, the braves are still dangerous even with Freddie in a bad slump.
he made contact in his last ab. So even though it was an out, psychologically it can get you out of that strikeout funk. We'll see next game.
@@strikeout77777 I think he's gonna go 2 for 4 and drive in at least 1 run next game. My boy is too good to slump for long, im with you on that contact to move the runner up could very well break him out of that slump
He's just got the yips. He'll be back tomorrow.
Freddie is thinking about that contract that he won't get.
Dave Roberts obviously respects Freddie regardless of his "bad slump". With Kenley Jansen on the mound in the 8th he could have intentionally walked Eddie Rosario (1B was open) to pitch to Freddie. He didn't.
Alex Anthopolous should definitely win the GM of the year award. ALL of his post Acuna injury moves have contributed to this 2-0 lead.
we haven't even gotten to the fall classic yet, and we've seen five walk offs in these playoffs
God I love the Braves. Keep ‘em comin, boys!!
Taylor and his hand ringing.🤢...Comes to show, Scherzer is human. We’ll never know if Flores would have ran into one. Go Braves.🤗

Hope so
nah, houston will beat the red sox in 6 games.
That would be dope! I also think Astros vs Dodgers would be cool haha especially with their history 😉
A Dusty Baker coached team ain’t beating the Red Sox
I feel the Dodgers are seriously burnt out after playing the Giants.
I hope so. Nice Kharma on the Joc HR vs Scherzer. Comes to show you never know if Flores would have ran into one after bogus check swing. Beat LA!👍👏
That will most certainly be the narrative if the Braves pull this off. Especially if it only goes 4-5 games.
