Alex Anthopoulos needs to win GM of the year. The Braves lost 2/3 of their outfield(Acuna and Ozuna)so he goes out and brings in Joc,Soler,Duvall and of course Rosario who all contributed in helping the Braves get to the World Series

That decision to pull Anderson to PH Adrianza was a ballsy move. Boy did that pay off, what a call by Snit. Also so happy for Luke that Matzek covered for him and saved his runs. I was 9 1991 and lived in Atlanta from 1990-1993. I can remember we had Braves day at school and Supercuts would cut a tomahawk into your hair. I was so mad my mom wouldn't let me do it😂 it was a big thing, I remember commercials for it on TV even😂

that 7th inning was the most crucial moment for the braves this whole postseason. That determined the outcome. The dodgers coulda easily taken the lead right there. if this thing wouldve got pushed to a game 7, it would've been all over for the braves and a historical back to back choke job.
After the third out in that inning, dodgers lost all the momentum they had and couldn’t recover. Same thing happened with Boston in game six in the exact same inning I believe. The strike him out, throw him out was the nail in the coffin for the Red Sox.

Final records were mediocre, but the records during the stretch run were among the best in baseball. I guess you could say it was a different team that was playing after the Allstar break. But you're right...looking at the final records would make you scratch your head when seeing how they performed so far during the playoffs.

The ump was giving calls to the Dodgers all night and the announcers couldn’t shake their Dodger bias from their commentary but the Braves pulled off what nobody thought they would. The Braves got redemption for last years NLCS.

Honestly after we finally beat the dodgers in the NLCS I was completely satisfied with whatever happened in the world series given my expectations after losing Acuna. Still, with this the Braves as world champs and my uga dawgs undefeated going into the SEC championship this has been a sports year beyond my wildest dreams. Hope it stays that way 🙏 🤞

To be honest it seems like they were barely making it in a mediocre division, with even the PHILLIES threatening until the last 3ish games.
They had us in 4th place of our division before the season even started

Final records were mediocre, but the records during the stretch run were among the best in baseball. I guess you could say it was a different team that was playing after the Allstar break. But you're right...looking at the final records would make you scratch your head when seeing how they performed so far during the playoffs.

The ump was giving calls to the Dodgers all night and the announcers couldn’t shake their Dodger bias from their commentary but the Braves pulled off what nobody thought they would. The Braves got redemption for last years NLCS.
I did feel that in certain times like they wanted a game 7 smh.

Fortunately I grew up in Houston and am also an Astros fan. The Astros stunk when the Pirates were good. They used to be in the same division, and I was so happy when they moved to the AL so I could cheer for both teams.

Honestly after we finally beat the dodgers in the NLCS I was completely satisfied with whatever happened in the world series given my expectations after losing Acuna. Still, with this the Braves as world champs and my uga dawgs undefeated going into the SEC championship this has been a sports year beyond my wildest dreams. Hope it stays that way 🙏 🤞
