- In today's video, we discuss the quest titled: Canvas the Castle in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion! The quest begins by the player finding themselves in the city of Chorrol. Talking to countess Arianna Valga in the castle, she will entrust the player to investigate who stole the portrait of her late husband. It is here that the player is lead on a big search and investigation around the castle and city, speaking with those involved in the countesses inner circle. The player interrogates and tries to find concrete evidence of who committed the theft. Once done, the player goes back to the countess and presents her with their findings. fingers are crossed that you accused the right person. Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe!

Too bad you can't just accuse the Grey Fox! No one would question that accusation.
Okay, calm down, Hieronymous Lex.
That’s a really good point actually! It would’ve been a cool little snippet to include in, say if you complete the thieves guild!
That would have been cool
We got so lucky that Oblivion was made at a time when Bethesda was focused on adding a ton of interesting side quests that involved more than just “Go to X Dungeon kill X bandit leader” I enjoyed how in Oblivion you could screw up a quest like in this one and you couldn’t fix it from there. Added some realism having consequences for poor actions
I agree! I really like the variety of quests in oblivion! It’s really interesting and unique that certain people can die, and that just ends the quest abruptly!
The last Thieves Guild quest is a great example. If you kill the blind monk before the scroll you fail and the Gray fox disappears and Thieves guild members hate or are openly hostile to you.

Listening to this series is an absolute eye opener
Skyrim is my first Elder Scroll game, never realized how detailed elder scroll games used to be
Oblivion and Morrowind are really quite fantastic gems. Skyrim isn't a bad game, but certainly lacks the charm and detail.
Oh u gotta try playing oblivion... my absolute favorite!
Chanel's lucky she didn't get thrown in jail.. well for stealing a painting out of jealousy lol.
I know! 😂 she definitely got let off easy on that one
I mean judging how murder only gets you a few days, that’s only gotta be a few hours tops
I like the chapter cards, your videos are evolving and getting more immersive
I’m glad to hear it! The overall goal is to make it feel like these stories are being told from a bard’s perspective!
Agreed. They are a neat touch.
Brother, I'm so happy to see your subs and views increase with each upload. You deserve it
I really appreciate the continued support! :) it’s been an awesome journey so far and I’m looking forward to the future!
Love your videos. Oblivion is probably my favorite game of all time and I really like your narration
Cheers! Thank you for the kind words! It’s an awesome game even after 17 years!
Damn Valga pulls so hard people are fighting over him while he's 6 feet under.
Always love your videos. Super quality and I can't believe how frequent your uploads are
The Chorrol honor blade if my favorite sword.
I liked this quest, but I had to google the solution up, I just could not for my life find the painting or the secret basement place. I just couldn't
Tip. If you are a mage, use charm spells. You can make a +100-charm (with a 10ft radius and set it to last 5 seconds) spell really cheap. It barely uses any magic and works on all except Bretons, because of their natural resist magic buff. Just talk to the person right after using it and it will last until you leave the conversation. No more needing to bribe anyone anymore.
Crazy timing. I finished that quest last night.
What’d you think of it? :)
@ABardsBallad love the video
Another fine video ❤
Love the content. A piece of feedback many people will likely disagree with- I love Oblivion (obviously!!) but the music knocks me out!!! 😴😴😴 I personally prefer playing it / content about it with the music turned off, and or replaced with slightly more upbeat music. But that’s just me! Keep up the great work, I’ll be watching regardless.
I appreciate the support!! 😂😂😂 I hear you, sometimes the music is too relaxing! I try to make it close to what one might hear in a “tavern” setting or just simply some medieval music, I’ll try to find some more higher energy ones!
Spent almost an hour looking for paint stains on the ground. Wow LOL
I wasn't the best detective when I first played this mission 😅
Oblivion side quest were better than Skyrim.
Proofread your scripts.
Ok
I usually enjoy Oblivion NPC narrators, but she sounds so bad lmao.
Anywau, good video!
