Aww, you're welcome. I could say I did it on purpose, but the truth is that I've just gotten used to working with him around. No apologies or excuses. I did pause a couple times as he got a bit too fussy, but came back to finish a few minutes later. He's always top priority when he wakes up.
Ashley- I’ve been following your advice on multiple videos, multiple topics…it’s been SPOT ON! You lay a yellow brick road, that’s leads to virtual yoga teaching success. Thank you so much! Ps, love the baby in the videos!
Thanks for this great comment! I am so happy to help. And in 2024, I plan to get back to posting more to youtube. It's been a whirlwind of a year as I've focused on course creation (3 this year) and raising my 2nd baby. He'll be a year old next week. :)
Yes, he is very joyful to have tag along on my calls. He's usually on my zoom coaching calls, too. I'm thankful he's a pretty easy baby, although I did pause this a couple times and then came back later as he got a little too fussy.
Thank you so much Ashley, you are doing a wonderful job in explaining it all for free! I feel so overwhelmed, having 1000 of questions and always whishing to have someone right here to hold my hand! HAHAHa, Love, Tatiana
Hi Ashley!!! This was a great training!! Thank you SO much!! I have a question about your free introductory course. How do you set it up so that people sign up for only one free class from you? Or do you have it set up on your website where people can sign up for as many free classes as they want (with no limit)? Thank you so much!!
Who do you use to host your website? I would love to add offerings to mine but am not sure wix can handle it unless I upgrade to a pretty expensive plan.
I have a Wordpress website at ashesyoga.com and then I also use OfferingTree for my class schedule, appointments, replays, and events (it is it's own website, too) at ashesyoga.offeringtree.com
I have the option for someone to book a 1:1 call with me if they'd like, although it is not a focus of mine yet. Once my little one starts going to daycare in January, I will have a few more hours I can add to my schedule. ashleyrosehagen.com/work-with-me/
I know this is off-topic but I'm really curious about your diet as a full-time mom + teacher and business owner. Are you a vegetarian? Any tips for yogis/athletes? I found it so challenging physically to practice yoga consistently daily after my YTT, let alone being a teacher and an entrepreneur simultaneously although I see. myself doing all that. I thought it might be my vegan diet that makes me feel anemic. Just curious about any healthy diet/supplementing tips for yogis!☺💓
Oh gosh, hmm... this is actually a bit of a difficult topic, but I can try to answer. I don't have a labeled diet, I mostly eat vegetarian. When I was with the kid's dad, I ate completely different. More meat and processed foods. It was something I just caved into doing for convenience, but I didn't feel awesome about it. I'm now dating someone who has been vegan for 18 years, so that helps. We often cook Purple Carrot meals together. They're so fun! I don't have lots of tips as my diet is still far from perfect. Low iron is also an issue for me, and the doctor said my baby is a bit anemic. So I will probably do an iron supplement for both of us. 100% vegan diet doesn't work well with my body, or maybe I'm just doing it wrong. Coming from an eating disordered background, the best thing I can do is not stress too much about what I eat. I try to eat to feel good, but I also love chocolate and sweets.
Aw, thanks for replying@@AshleyHagen ! I agree the best thing is to not stress about this thing and give our bodies a way to choose. I also started incorporating more tofu and things like pre-packaged falafels and they are my favs now!
Hi Ashley, I absolutely love your content and admire your transparency 🙏 Quick question: I'm seeking mentorship for my Spanish-speaking yoga audience. Do you think language will be a barrier if you were to mentor me, or should I look within the Spanish-speaking yoga community? Thanks for all your amazing work
Thank you for leaving the baby on the call! I always need the reminder that working moms are super cool!

Agree. I love how gracefully she kept teaching with fussy baby in tow. Well done Mama. You're an inspiration!

Good! And I hope you do. A lot of fear comes from the unknown, so I'm trying to break down those barriers.
