Thank you for this!! I’m a newish mama and really struggled with trying to work with a baby. And you’re right, when you only have 1-2hrs break during naptime, you get laser focused! It’s still hard feeling like I could do so much more if I had more than a couple hours a day but it is what it is. I’ve tried working after bedtime but I’m too exhausted. I also resonated with dropping perfectionism. That’s something I really struggled with pre-kid but I’m learning it will take me waaaayyy too long to complete anything if I only have a couple hours a day AND feel like it has to be perfect. It gets easier each time, saying “ok, pretty good is good enough”! Thanks, Ashley!

Love this! It's so true to use nap time to do things you can't do when the little ones are awake. I really appreciate your thoughts on slow growth and to celebrate it. I've also been trying to stop the perfectionism and just start posting. I did that today! I love your content, thanks for sharing!

Just got another video filmed while my little one was napping today haha 👏
I completely agree with doing your deep work while they’re asleep and doing less intensive tasks that DON’T involve deep focus during their wake time. When it comes down to it… it’s challenging!!! but sometimes you just gotta do imperfectly!
Love the tips as always, Ashley!💙

That's how ya do it! Yes, it's challenging, but we learn to adapt. And be okay with doing less in the time of life. I've got all summer to continue working this way then Felix will be in daycare once Ezra is in Kindergarten. And I'll have that "whoa, I have so much time!" feeling like I did when Ezra first went to daycare when he was 2. It goes by fast.

Hey Ashley, really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?

Thanks, but I'm not that interested as growing on youtube is not my primary goal. I like the simple look and feel of my current videos.

My yoga teacher just quit teaching and got a job at Trader joes
She couldn't pay the land lord last month - but she worked out an agreement with him so she doesn't have to pay rent this month.

That's tough. Did you have help in any other way? That's where I'd probably use a gym child watch for 2 hours a day to get my work done. Or find another mom in the community that we can trade off. Tap into the community in some way. I know every baby/kid is different, so we do what we can.
