I've for years used my I dont know the model dewalt impact but its non brushless on my 3 commercial zero turns to change the blades I'm not sure the bolt diameter but the head is 24mm its amazing how much these impacts can break loose
I’d be more comfortable with the AEG 18v 1/2” high torque impact 6 speed wrench The thing is a weapon. And you can select setting so you don’t over tighten bolts.
My DCF 887 could not remove my lugs from my 2012 Town and county so I went out and bought the just released DCF 891 they came off so fast I freaked out
Well, It’s possibly because the 887 is a 1/4 inch impact driver and not meant to remove lugs. The 891 is a 1/2 inch impact wrench with an anvil-The right tool for the job you gave it. You probably need both so the driver can drive/remove screws and the wrench can loosen/tighten lugs and bolts.
@@Green-Olle when tires are replaced in by vulkanic guys with air gun they can push bolts on 500nm or more with airgun and then almost any hand wrench are useless
@@Mr11ESSE111 There are specific lug nut torque specs for every vehicle. If anyone is going above, or below the specs by much, they shouldn’t be in business.
@@Mr11ESSE111 I’m still waiting for someone to tell me what the foot pound equivalent of nm is. I just know that reputable tire shops here in America torque the lug nuts to the vehicle’s specs. I have definitely seen impact drivers that will break lugs loose. Most of the newer impact drivers are rated from 1825 inch pounds to about 2400 inch pounds. That’s roughly 125 to 180 foot pounds. I would still prefer using an impact wrench, though.
It was the Milwaukee adapter, 1/4” hex to 1/2” square. Don’t waste your money, it lasted less than a week. I replaced it with the more expensive dewalt version and that’s still good 2 years later.

887 is legend! I have one and it is the work horse in by arsenal.
Have you seen the videos from VCG and Impact OG? They both got the 887 to self destruct.

Car bolts are on around 100nm tighten ,on some rusted there will be no chance
