I am really liking what BOS is doing. I am slowly transitioning into the eco system. I just placed an order for a pair of 108" uprights and a few items. Slowly selling my stuff and upgrading to BOS. Keep of the good work
Is there enough space between the Smith machine and the back of the rack, to have plate storage pegs? Or will the plates end up hitting each other from Smith machine to plate storage?
Great video. So the Kracken works with the Manticore ,1" holes ? Looks like the Smith machine will only work in the back of the rack ? Thanks B.O.S. Watching you.
Both the manticore 1 inch holes or hydra 5/8s, smith will only work on th eback with a kraken in front. A solo smith can go anywhere you want angled or up and down
Are expansions available for the Kraken if I upgrade from a 4-post rack to a 6-post rack? Can the Lat Pulldown / Low Row / Rear Base Stabilizer be added to the back of this set up?
@@BELLSOFSTEELBrilliant design. Serious question - why would I give you over $4K and then wait over 5 months for it to arrive? That wait time is a little ridiculous.
The connections for the smith bar (bar catches rather than needing to put in holes) is a huge safety and convenience factor. Well done BOS. Would prefer the weight stacks to be at the back like Ares 2.0 so could use internal space as a separate rack for supersets. /and for home gyms the back of the rack is usually up against a wall so not really accessible for storage.
Love the Smith Machine on the back. You can use it to super set with some free weights on the front. Can you go even further and add an extra smith to the front?
Yes you can just add the kraken to any of our hydra or manticore racks, this product is just pre bundlesd for demo but you can customize any way you like bellsofsteel.us/collections/power-racks bellsofsteel.us/products/kraken-4-post-hydra-manticore?_pos=3&_psq=kraken&_ss=e&_v=1.0
I appreciate that you put the price of this in description to give people an idea, because even if you get sticker shock ,the idea of building it over time is cool. I currently have the dual cable towers as my version of an all in one rack, so I would probably just use the skorpius line with the smith attachment if that is ever an option. If not then I'd probably sell my setup to upgrade overtime. Can you upgrade a kraken plate loaded to weight stack via a kit, or would you have to purchase a new kraken with the stack (like your cable tower)?
@@BELLSOFSTEEL What is the Skorpios? I have heard you mention making the 2.3” line modular, is that what this is referring to? If so does that mean we’ll be able to buy parts like crossmembers, uprights, etc?

They would collide but you could user spacers or a lock collar create enough space

Yes smith will fit the skorpios! Yes I’ll get a conversion kit up on the site soon
@BELLSOFSTEEL Cool! Would you ever make a retro kit to convert plate loaded cable towers to weight stacks??
