Your one door has extention springs it will never be perfect. The other isn't level if its 3/4" differnce.. would probably be quieter if leveled. And would put less wear on the rollers
Lol tracks don't go plumb.. the get narrower as they go down to center the bottom panel when closed.. and you never change something that's been operating for 20 years.. the tracks and rollers are worn in a similar pattern. You change how they ride they're is gonna be probably and noise.. As far as tracks being level, you level the bottom panel and level the tracks to that panel.. with 1/2" spacing at the rollers. I was factory trained at Wayne Dalton in the early 2000s.. been doing this for 25 years.. (;
Love your Customer Service attitude. That’s a lost art in today’s world.
I have legit had very little bad experiences in my career. Most people are so happy to see me.. lol
came here looking for a video on how to replace my track because i just hit mine with my tractor lol ty sir
Hahaha well thats convenient! Hope this helps!!
Even worse i just ran my neighbors tractor into his garage door while he's outta town..gotta fix it up for him before he gets back😂
Great tip. My door is a bear to lift and it's a cheesy metal thing. I'm going to check the track alignment. Thanks!
I measured mine out like you said. It is in fact 3/4” taller on one side. I just can’t seem to figure out why. 😂

Hardcore Garage Doors
Lacking on details,like putting a level on the track to make sure it's parallel.

So ya...😂
👍
how is the garage door being held up after you remove the old track and before installing the new track?
The horizontal track is still there and the spring tension and gravity keep the door held horizontally.
