You made it all the way down here and we love ya for it 😍 - เกม
DISCLAIMER: In some shots it appears to show a rainbow effect on the screen but please note that it's only from our camera settings! We didn't notice any rainbow effect in use and our camera monitor was too small for me to see it and adjust :| If you have any questions, please drop 'em in the comments! Appreciate ya ✌
I've watched your channel so much that i just got my first hit of nostalgia, its a beautiful thing 😢
thanks so much jeffry :D appreciate you watching us so much :D! idk how old we have to be to be considered nostalgic but I'm all for it haha
Yo this Vid was so cool I love your videos so much they have helped me alot in alot of ways! Much love. ❤️
Thanks so much naso, appreciate you watching :D
My pleasure lol.
There’s only a few people on TH-cam explain to the level of degree of you do with Gaming and accessories and that’s what I love about your channel.
Better than Optoma UHD38X or 4K400STX?
How is the black level compared to the X3000i - is it about the same? Are there any image behavioral differences compared to the X300i (e.g. do the HDR brightness controls work the same or have the same effect)? Outside of lens shift and profile features, is the image quality comparable to the X3000i?
I did a side by side before I took down the x3000i into the naked eye. They're very similar but hdr seems to make them look better on the x3100i! I normally use custom settings instead of their presets but they do seem to have more presets this time around, including HDR specific ones that the x3000i did not have. If you have the x3000i and are considering this new model, it honestly just comes down to whether you need lens shift and want the 300 extra lumens :0 aside from that, it's too similar to the previous model to recommend to x3000i owners!
@@itcamefromabox This makes sense. The X3000i is a beast provided you can get it at the exact spot you need it without extra positioning twists and turns. It sounds like it's the placement flexibility that makes this a win for new customers. What I found on the X3000i is the black level was sort of an illusion. If you increase the HDR brightness setting by a step, the black looks (looks) more black, but it's actually the same; it's just the brighter highlights that make the black seem deeper. So if you are getting a bit more brightness out of the projector, that too could be creating the illusion of a deeper black. You'll need to compare / check to know for sure.
@@Enterfrize Yes, that was the first thing I thought of checking! Normally more brightness can wash out blacks but although they say that it can kill off the light on blacks, I'm not sure if the project just doesn't read black as the color being shown in order to kill it off correctly? If that makes sense haha The problem too is that the environment really matters, when I play on it, I black out the room and I have dark walls around it and no ambient light (i had some on during this video just to give you an idea of where the screen was) and when I do that, it makes the black levels look muchhhh better. Not like an OLED but muchhhh better haha I'd love to sit and do a full test but there's so many other websites and channels that do it much better which I can just cant compete with tbh!
Next year Benq releases the new 2.1 hdmi projectors. They already confirmed this. I would wait for sure. 2.0 hdmi projectors are gonna drop massively in price. I would sell your x3000i right now before it drops a 1500 dollars on the used market.
Hi Is the x3100i fan noise quieter than the x3000i and how is the picture during the day with ambient lighting ?
I couldn't compare the fan noise but it's very low, I'd say watching something at 5% volume, you can't really hear it.
And with the lights on it's still a pretty bright picture, we had some ambient lights on and got the image you can see in some of these shots!
can you say that this device is not only the king of gaming projectors but also the king among cinema projectors where video quality is important? if there is someone with better video quality, please recommend their model 😇
To me it is BUT I can't really state it because I don't have allt he other projectors to compare it to :O Either way, BenQ is the brand I prefer when it comes to projectors and gaming monitors because their performance and reliability has always been top notch!
Will this produce better pictures than the ht4550i?
@@lordzee2947 you should still be good with the ht4550i by specs alone! their x series is more for gaming performance but if it's only for picture quality, the ht4550i is still a beast!
Would you do a review on asus Rog Ally?
I wish I could, I just can't afford it right now 😭😭
How far is the projector from the screen? What screen size did you get?
100 inch @ 8ft-ish! I'd go bigger if I had the screen size 😭😭
@itcamefromabox i got a small room lol - what do you get from 75inches away from the screen? And putting it angled at the right side of the screen.. I know digital keystoning isn't ideal but want to get an idea of what screen size you get after the keystone? What width and height does it come to?
Far right side of the screen*
@@ksingh9843 I haven't measured it but it can get about 25-35% smaller BUT if you have a small space like that i'd go with an ultra shortthrough instead! I believe BenQ is working on one for next year but this one costs wayyyy too much to use the digital adjustments with! Also, consider going laser too!
@itcamefromabox yes I'm looking at x300g from Benq, I will still have to angle it but the projection will be much bigger with a short throw distance
Epic? It's almost the same as the older x3000i which is much cheaper and it doesn't have 2.1 hdmi.
I love you Joey but when most people experience a projector like this in person, that's how it feels! Almost any AAA PS5 title on this looks stunning. Can it get better? Of course! In tech, as soon as you buy something, something better is just over the horizon.
@@itcamefromabox Benq already confirmed 2.1 hdmi projectors for 2024. These will be obsolete within in 4 months. I'm rocking a Benq W2700 myself. I'm not buying a x3100i or a x3000i that will drop 1500 dollars in value within 4 months because it doesn't have 2.1 hdmi.
This projector will be obsolete in comparison to all the cheaper 2.1 hdmi projectors that are coming next year. There will be projectors with this 2.1 hdmi technology for 1500 dollars. Chances are they've even better picture and lag numbers too. Certainly in 2k and 4k. Which should be the resolutions you use for a projector 2000 dollars and up for gaming.
End of next year this projector will be worth a 1000 dollars and below because of the hdmi 2.0. I'm even considering to get rid of my W2700 before hdmi 2.1 happens under 2000 dollars. If i catch wind of the new projector i'm gonna sell immediately.
The new projector will be faster and cheaper for gaming without being a advertised as a gaming projector. 2.1 hdmi is a massive deal for projectors. I'm waiting for years this. I'm sure i'm not the only one. It will make 2.0 beamers useless. The new one will be the best selling projector in years.
