At RecycleSmart, we meticulously gather data on the resources we retrieve.
This allows us to monitor the impact of users and businesses on our platform and provide comprehensive reports to councils and partners regarding the materials collected.
Upon arrival at a doorstep or business, our drivers record the weight of the bags and the volume of the streams collected. Once the pickup is complete, they log the destination of the items.
For instance, a driver might first donate clothes to our charity partner before delivering the remaining items to a consolidation point. These consolidation points serve as hubs where we organise tricky-to-recycle items and connect them with appropriate partners.
At these points, area managers document the journey of the items through our online portal. We maintain detailed records of the resources' destinations, including which recycling partner they were sent to, the timing of dispatch, and the quantity dispatched.
