The problem is f you use the divegear every day, (you are working as Dive Master or Instructor), then your gear never gets dry in between the dives. It stays wet in boxes or divebags, and already after a few weeks you can see some black dots inside the mask. if you ignore them for a while then the mask becomes really dirty with this black stuff. Washing, scrubing may helps a little bit, but finally it will come always back.
I get this cleaning tip years ago from a customer.

Thanks for your video bro....at last,i have an idea how to clean up my diving mask.
Thank you, I did not now how to get the yellow out of the rubber. I will try this.
Not what I searched up but cool:D
Itâs only obvious that the mask needs to be physically scrubbed with any kind of detergent, even if you were to let it soak in the best cleaning solution scrubbing will be required for anything that needs a cleaning
Klausi I did not know you have this TH-cam channel. I hope you are doing very well back in your home country. I would like to point something out about this video and why it worked as well as it did for you because this could also very well have destroyed the masks. It was good that you first used a weak bleach solution and then disassembled the mask and only put the rubber/silicone part in the more concentrated bleach solution. If you put the complete mask with plastic frame in the concentrated bleach solution, the plastic frame WILL break. The plastic becomes very brittle in bleach and it will CRUMBLE between your fingers after. So if using this method, if you want to keep your mask, disassemble it first and only soak the rubber/silicone part.
Hey JensiâĶ you are absolutely right. Another problem is if you have a clear mask body, it will be not clear after this procedure anymore. Itâs more opac letâs say. In general itâs not the best way to get this dirt out of the mask, but I didnât find anything that works better.
I liked clear mask bodyâs very much, but besides a black mask looks cooler I change to black masks for that reason.
I once tried this and bleach will leave scars/bruises on the glass which can't be repaired anymore.
How much bleach to water?
What my profile pic says you da best!
I now Ferry good solution To clean the diving glass...but that's a secret
I can clean masks better than you...and I know the solution
