F40s aren’t owned by arseholes, most of the British owners are nice, they want to speak to you about the car, they want you to talk to them about it really, i have met a few and they were all top blokes. The Dickheads arrive when you have f40s with very few miles and are garage queened

Never imagined anyone to own a F40 who doesn't live in a huge Mansion with a 20 car garage. Amazing!
They actually weren't worth as much back in the 1990s.

First non Red F40 I've ever seen... wonder if it was repainted
@Zx10r 08 I think that at the era of the F40, people who bought them just wanted strangers to see that their car is a ferrari just by the colour. I can be wrong but most of the F40s are red and I've only seen some yellow ones. Never a blue one. So maybe only one guy said: 'Fuck that red colour. I like blue.'
All F40 came out of the factory in Red. This one - just like all the other non-red F40's - has been repainted.
Amazing you keep this car on the road, even in bleu it is still a head turner....

Thank you for this Sam, made my day ! I drove one in Kuwait a few years back, essentially no speed limits back then there. A great experience that I will never forget, a super bike quick car, so raw, so quick, so nice. By the way, most F40’s were around 500 bhp, some more, some less, Mohammed Bin Sulayam in Dubai, his was upto around 700 bhp, by the time he was finished with it. Watch Clarkson with him, driving his F50 in Dubai......

I had a Nissan many years ago that I ABSOLUTELY threw sideways around every corner. So much fun. But of course so much less power that it was never difficult to control.

Love the F40. Glad you kept it. More stunning than most TH-camr hypercars like the Daily Driven Exotics McLaren P1 or TheStradman's Bugatti Veyron.

Great review, F40 is my favourite car of all time and I've always loved your one. I've heard someone say 'dont meet your heroes' referring to the F40 but I just can't see how my opinion could ever change on it, hope I just get a ride in one some day. Everybody else on the road loves it as well

Great honest review! I have this car on my list but i have a lot of respect of it. When buying i will need a good (safe) place to keep it there and perfect routes so that i don't "waste" too much precious KM behind other cars. Maybe you are right and Sunday mornings are a must for a F40.. Otherwise, like i said, lot's of respect, especially in the rain etc.

Awesome car Sam, I like the blue with red seats. I saw an F40 years ago when it stopped across the road from our house and asked for directions, my sister went over to help and I ran inside to get my camera to get a photo but by the time I got back outside they were driving away.

@sammoores I was so happy when I saw this video come up on my time-line. For some reason I hadn't seen any appear, then realized, the notifications bell wasn't selected to get all updates, which makes no sense. This video was great. The F40 put smiles on everyone's faces on the video, and a big one on mine. And, as always, the still photos you included during the video were top notch. I especially loved the ones of the F40 BLU in the snow. Please tell me there's video of you driving it in the snow? Anyway, please keep up the great work and content.

I usually can't stand "High-end-car-owner" channels (Schmee, Daily Driven Exotics, etc), but I feel like there is something about the owner's attitude that exudes pure appreciation for the machinery in a way I don't get from most owners of exotic cars.

THANK YOU!!! The first time we made a drive test with the F40I felt in love with the F40. When we were back at the house of my friend I have kissed his F40 on the hood and I said: "This is THE CAR, from now I can drive my old Fiat Multipla CNG all my life because all the other cars are NOTHING in compare with the F40". Sam, Your Blue F40 should be driven to make a video with the sunshine because your blue color will blow the eyes with joy. The good friend of mine had one yellow F40, 288 GTO, Testarossa, 365, Daytona, Porsche 959, etc etc. Btw I made him buy a Fiat Multipla CNG and he was enthusiastic about it... Italians are crazier more than you think....! Sam you are a humble man, ...but my friend is not. THANK YOU for sharing this GREAT JOY!!! Roberto
My favourite car of all time after my dad bought me a Burago model from Italy in the 80's, thank you for the video, really enjoyed watching it and my dream one day is to go in one running (I've sat in one maneuvering it with the engine off at a classic car show in Donington). Cheers 👍

Great Video! Thank you for posting this. On an aside, you never posted a follow up to your GT3RS DSC update. Like it? Worth it?
Unfortunately I'm not sure the update will actually come. Maybe one day. I'm happy with the changes but I don't have enough information on how much better it is. I should probably take the original part out with me for a proper blat at some point and back to back it on a twisty road. It's just a bit of faff swapping back and forth that's all.

It's incredible how I've driven 360, 458 and was fortunate enough to have passenger-ride in an Enzo. Yet the only Ferrari I ever dreamt of driving is an F 40. They're just that rare. Thanks for sharing :-)
