Remember when Chris Rock hosted the MTV awards in 1996 and at the end, Marilyn Manson played and after that, Chris shouted to the audience, "Get your asses to Church!!" That still cracks me up.
LUVU, Chris! You're the modern-day answer to G.B. Shaw's reminder to a reporter who asked him his personal opinion of the (so-called) "christian" faith: "Personally, I think Christianity is a great system. The pity is that it's never been tried."
I love Chris Rock! He can and will joke about controversial issues….that nobody else will….i admire him greatly for excelling despite his difficult beginnings…he’s the GOAT in my opinion…along with…Dave Chappelle …and Kevin Hart! They are all winners!
Yeah cause they know it’s about that time now for all their sins and hypocrisy to be exposed so now they want God to save them from their guilt even though they’ve never practiced what they preached from the very jump 🤣🤣🤷🏾♂️
Gonna disagree with Brother Chris about the "definition" of religious extremism. It's not that extremists "extremely believe" in God. It's they believe in their own definition of God, and almost never is their definition of God remotely close to the truth of God as presented in scripture. They're narcissists who use and abuse scripture to buttress their own limited world view. Religious extremism has nothing to do with God. But, he's still right about faith, and he's one of the funniest dudes ever😊
@@scibear9944 About half the world. My book’s better than your book, say the Muslims say the christians. We teach the little children” how do I know, because the bible tells me so”.
@BradinManheim Well, I didn't say anything about worshiping any book, and I certainly don't worship any book. My point is that if one is going to do things in the name of God, they should at least do so in ways that God approves of according to the scriptures, which such folks also tend to cite as backup for their own beliefs. The extremists cherry pick those verses out of context for their own purposes, and ignore the inconvenient verses that contradict their personal goals. On a different note, "because the bible tells me so" is a children's Sunday school song, the complete text is, "Jesus loves me, this I know, for the bible tells me so. Little ones to him belong, they are weak but he is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me, (repeat)." This song is about Christ's love for people, and how he can be discovered through bible study. It is not about worshiping the bible, nor is it about the supposed infallibility of the bible. Context and nuance are important for spiritual understanding.

He's right but there's different levels. Some people have doubts and so add a lot of practice, rituals, talks. Some have an easy faith as he said. I completely agree...
I love how all the truck loaders are getting offended here. The fact is that they only feel like they are helping god but it's actually them trying to make their life mean something because deep down they know they are useless on this planet. Harsh and true.
Read your Bible Chris and you will know without a shadow of a doubt wether or not you are going to heaven or hell when you die. God will even clean up your bad language!
How do you know what God wants - since God never appears in person to reveal what he/she wants ? The believe in heaven or hell is extremely stupid. It makes us human beings subjects in a cruel experiment. Thankfully, there is no evidence that hell or heaven exist.
This dude is amazing. He still got it. Talented Mr. Rock

You know, it's sad when a professional adult comedian is more on point with his theology than most modern pastors today! 🙄😬😣
Nice stuf. This is a good one from someone. "When God sneezed, I didn't know what to say."
There’s lots of old people that start going to church again after many years. I think it’s a form of insurance.
LOL 🤣🤣🤣
