I have always hoped and still hope that AMC will make a spinoff for Negan. Maybe three or four seasons, picking up right after “Here’s Negan” and showing us all the obstacles he had to endure to become the villain we know him as in the TWD. I always envisioned the last scene of the last episode of the spin off be him driving the RV to a secluded place and have him thinking deeply about his choices (not regretting), and then a muffled sound from Simon saying “let’s meet the man…” and knocking on the RV door, then the camera fixated on the driver seat and Negan walking toward the door, shrouded with the darkness of the RV and walking out, and the very last words, “are we pissin’ our pants yet…?” then the season ends.
Also, like you said, in Neegans flashback episode we see that he loved Lucille (his wife) more then anything. He fought like hell to keep her alive when she had CANCER during the apocalypse. I think losing her turned him into the Neegan we first meet and the end of the show is the arc of him returning back to the person he WAS- protecting his current wife years later and finally understanding the impact of what he did to Glenn. The whole basbeball bat wielding viscious era was a direct cause of losing the true Lucille.
Negan is villain from pov of Ricks group...it's very complex character, he pushes for sure bounderies., but he make order in chaos. He is more like a dictator who has good abilities to control crowds. I think this kind of world creates men like this
Out of this whole video, Negan does make a point how someone can be obese years in the zombie apocalypse. Not saying she is stealing food for herself but that is something I completely forgot from the show.
Negan is flat out one of my favorite characters in fiction and every scene with him is pure gold. But the Governor is also a goated villain of the show.
Even after all this time, that damn cliffhanger _still_ pisses me off. A fantastically, exceptionally well done introduction to the character and it ended like that.. 😅 the scene was so tense and riveting, I barely breathed during it.
Don’t forget his badass moment in dead city where he’s talking shit, making jokes while he slit the guys throat in front of his people, scaring them off
I never watched a single episode of The walking dead until I saw Negans opening scene on TH-cam one day. I remember watching from square one desperate to get to Negans introduction as quick as I could 😂
Hey carol killed a killer kid who was finna slice us judith like a rotisserie chicken and she freed him. Ohhh and his and Daryls wisperer scene is beautiful 😭
I’m going through my first watch of the walking dead, and season 7-8 had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, it is the only section of the show that kept me as consistently interested as I was
The thing about s7 and s8 haters is the fact that they were forced to see it one week at a time which is the worst possible way to watch these seasons, I get it if you don't like the seasons because of this but they are a lot better if you watch the seasons in a binge
Yeah it was really bad watching live at the time, waiting so long for what could be a filler episode really sucked, the writing, cgi and story line is still dumb compared to the rest of the show but if you can binge the whole two seasons, it’s not actually that bad

Good video but saying "TWD villains are bad and messy" (paraphrasing) is a strange claim. If TWD gets any praise by the masses it's usually for the villains...
Not sure I'd say "the best"... but, I love his story. And Jeffery Dean Morgan's portrayal. I'm literally, just watching his story right now....which really goes through to the end of the show.
2:50 that's why I don't see him as being as bad as he is supposed to be. We only really see him retaliate when he is done wrong rather than being outright evil
My favorite scene ever is Olivia saying they're practically starving and Negan is like, 👀 you 👀 starving? It's so funny how serious and angry Rick is in comparison during negan's first visit as he's cracking jokes and Rick is fuming lmaooo cuz Rick has like no sense of humor. Also him calling Gabriel creepy as shit while Gabriel does the fakest smile hahaha
2:38 Ricks group killed 200+ saviors before meeting Negan? Where do you get that number from? I always thought 20 maybe even 25. Where hell does 200 come from??
The comics definitely handle most of these scenes better his cold and uncompromising disposition is always horrifying and amazingly badass at the same time him killing alpha he doesnt cry or nothing he kills her takes her head and brings it back. And when he kills brandon he did for a bigger plan to play a perspective game forcing ricks hand to fight the whisperers.
I’m sorry, but there’s no chance in hell that they killed 200 people at the satellite station. Your points still comes across but that’s just an overestimate.
20:00 i hope this is sarcasm, because at this point both carol and (especially) gabriel are also among *these best* ones since rick disappeared. Either way, personally i find *Rick* to be the best character, because he never lost himself like negan did, and as understandable as it is, it is a sign of weakness. Considering how rick has dealt with at least as much loss as negan, but he adapted to the new world and kept fighting for a better future, instead of turning evil and started ruining & leeching off others. Oh, and im pretty sure anyone with an army like negans could effortlessly make *anyone else* look like a wuss, so thats not really a fair comparison... I also wanna point out when negan leaves maggie for her "death". im sure he did it for the obvious reasons, but like, what if she was alone..shed have to survive on her own either way. And in *her* defense later on, that was a much more intense and risky situation than with negan ngl. Most of us would open the door for sure, but i dont blame her in that situation.
The way I saw Savior Negan was that he was put in charge of a large group of assholes and he put them in line while trying to make sure he kept as few people from dying as possible. Yes, it's a shitty situation, but that's the apocalypse, where in reality, we'd be so lucky to find a group like the saviors and a leader like Negan. 9/10 times, most of us would become zombie chow, raped, murdered, captured and imprisoned, or eaten alive.
I don’t think it was 200 or so killed by Rick’s group. More like 30-50 at most. At least before the Line up with Glenn. Maybe up to 150-200 after though.
The way you highlighted Maggie's flaws is a perfect example of Neegan's line "there are no good guys". Basically, almost everyone is in a grey area. Everyone has done things to survive or protect that could be viewed as "evil". It's the nature of humanity. Instead of every person alive grouping up against what is supposed to be the main threat - the undead - people form groups and fight amongst each other. And yes some people are exceptions/ worse then others, the Croat for example, is a sociopath who enjoys torturing and killing people. He is what Lizzie would have become as an adult. But overall- it's all a grey area of how humanity is messy.
As I was watching his introduction after he killed Abraham "at least he didn't kill Glenn as in the comic" was my reaction. Not two seconds later he killed Glenn. "Ah damn it!" was my response to that. My point is; thanks a lot Daryl, you got Glenn killed by having to get revenge too early.
My dad watched The Walking Dead as it was coming out and jumped off shortly after the time jumpy in season nine because he felt there was no good successor to Rick, especially with Carl dead. He absolutely hates Negan. I, however, LOVE Negan. I think part of the reason my dad hates Negan is because his trio of favorites is Rick, Glenn, and Daryl-all of whom suffer because of Negan-and he didn’t see Negan’s redemption. Part of the reason I love Negan so much is because of his dynamic with the Whisperers and his relationship with Judith & Lydia. I’ve tried to get my dad to watch some of the redeemed Negan episodes, but he isn’t interested. Maybe he’ll come around someday, but at least I ain’t missing out like he is. I’ll guess I’ll end with this excerpt… Negan: You sure as sh1t did. Judith: Language! I’m a kid, a$shole.
To be fair, i think even negan would have pushed the "not killing kids" thing to the side if in the same situation as carol regarding lizzie.

not even just from the pov of ricks group negan is a horrible person he murders people, forces people into serfdom and SA/rapes women
the way you talk about Negan sometimes made me laugh but it was so real
Negan is amazing loved him when he was the villiam loved him even more when he reformed loved his back story ....what a guy 😊
I love that Negan is both the comic relief and the reason the show needs some comic relief
The actor who played Glen said that he was so excited to have his head bashed into mashed potatoes.
POV Negan fan boy trying to see through his love but in reality they're seeing smoke and mirrors
"Not making a decision, is a BIG decision."
Its like Robert Downy Jr as Tony Stark. No one would play a better Negan.
But it has to happen someday
Out of this whole video, Negan does make a point how someone can be obese years in the zombie apocalypse. Not saying she is stealing food for herself but that is something I completely forgot from the show.
Negan is flat out one of my favorite characters in fiction and every scene with him is pure gold.
But the Governor is also a goated villain of the show.
It wasn’t his jugular that Rick cut it was his throat meaning he’d suffocate on blood not bleed out
DAMN IT NEGAN STOP MAKING ME LIKE YOU!
Even after all this time, that damn cliffhanger _still_ pisses me off. A fantastically, exceptionally well done introduction to the character and it ended like that.. 😅 the scene was so tense and riveting, I barely breathed during it.
The Governor also had a solid backstory. Wdym? He wasnt just evil to he evil
Didn't care for eyeball chen or the ginger nut so I LOVED that scene.
Don’t forget his badass moment in dead city where he’s talking shit, making jokes while he slit the guys throat in front of his people, scaring them off
Your channel is very underrated.
I never watched a single episode of The walking dead until I saw Negans opening scene on TH-cam one day. I remember watching from square one desperate to get to Negans introduction as quick as I could 😂
Negan also didn’t kill Glen, Daryl did 🤣
Well, according to Jesus, Negan did in fact beat a kid to death with Lucille. The kid was a teen, 14 if I remember correctly.
This video is really well made and I can’t wait to check out your others
Matthew Lillard was a runner up for the role, which honestly I would love to see
I would not have. Perhaps because jdm is cemented in my head though
Hey carol killed a killer kid who was finna slice us judith like a rotisserie chicken and she freed him. Ohhh and his and Daryls wisperer scene is beautiful 😭
pleaseee make more twd vids this is so goated

15:20 is absolutely hilarious 😂😂😂
24:12 simple yet affective line you gotta love it
wow this made me realize i watched the last few seasons completely on autopilot i don't remember any of this 😭😭😭😭
700 subscribers is crazy to me. the video quality and everything else is really good. definitely going to be a lot bigger pretty soon.
Awesome video man.
My favorite TH-camr OAT
The math doesn't math like that when Negan always kills 1 person in every group he meets. Ricks group killed his because they did that to Alexandria
Good video but saying "TWD villains are bad and messy" (paraphrasing) is a strange claim. If TWD gets any praise by the masses it's usually for the villains...
That’s what I’m saying! Like that’s a crazy take
Not sure I'd say "the best"... but, I love his story. And Jeffery Dean Morgan's portrayal. I'm literally, just watching his story right now....which really goes through to the end of the show.
Bro is literally a 80s high school villain as an adult
Young Negan kinda looks like Nick Cage.
2:50 that's why I don't see him as being as bad as he is supposed to be. We only really see him retaliate when he is done wrong rather than being outright evil
Nobody understands the sociopathic criminal mind like Negan does. That's a powerful story
Where hell does 200 come from??
my guess is it was a typo in the script
Literally. I like Negan but Negan riders make me laugh a lot
coerce is a good word for the egging on thing
Negan deserved his movie like how he created his group etc
800 subs? bro this vid is so good you deserve 100k subs
Negan is the best ever. Best character in Walking Dead. Negan kept me watching at this point. ❤
Am I the only one who thinks it's really weird that Jeffrey Dean Morgan played daddy Winchester to two guys in their 20s like 30 years ago.
Steven Yeun said he wanted to die like Glenn did in the comics...so it was only right
in 15.29 you can see the guy that he killed in 14.48 . also great video
Tf, who has said that twd has bad villains. Two of the greatest villains are in it
ONG, had me wowed when he said that one lmao, the show is known for its villains among many other things, so to say that was just laughable.
It’s pretty funny is well tv show vs comics negan was like a Chad in the comics and looks younger
I wonder if you’ll do a video on Abraham
I never really understood why the highwaymen hated Negan. They never worked under him, never met him until they moved to Alexandria.
ngl this os a great video and I enjoyed it a lot, although the satellite station was more like 30 or 40 ish and not 200 I think
Negan and Maggie at this point reminds me of Bill and Zoey from left 4 dead, and boy I hope he doesn't go Bill's route when he goes out.
I’ll guess I’ll end with this excerpt…
Negan: You sure as sh1t did.
Judith: Language! I’m a kid, a$shole.
I mean Negan did say..: “No exception!!”
I totally agree with you! I am by far the best!
