I relate Negan to the likes of Handsome Jack, one of the best and most lovable villains / anti hero in any media ever, They are both very similar, they start off intruduced as an asshole with a jerkish sense of humor with some of the funniest lines while being in control of the situation, when they're on screen, you are entertained. they both end up getting some of the most tragic backstory and you learn why the character ended up in the place you met them in, and it makes you sympathize with them and connect with the character

These movies are so mid at best. It's so predictable and super cheesey. The monster writing is so terrible

I think that you totally whitewash just how downright despicable and psychotic Negan is, especially during the Saviors arc. He visibly savours murderering people in inhumane and awful ways, ran a community of indentured servants and took his many ‘wives’ without their consent. All the while he makes jokes about all of this and hides behind crude ‘rules’ as justifications. The death of his wife does not justify anything he did after the fact, I don’t care how sympathetic it makes him seem. I think that the violent, sadistic version of himself is just as much a part of him as the man who cares for kids and the vulnerable, and because of this he will never redeem himself.

This show should have been no more than 6 to 8 seasons. Really could have been done in 3. Extended stories longer than they need to be kills the story.

It started with Carl dying and Rick leaving the show was the final nail in the coffin this show probably would of made 15 seasons if Carl and Rick never left but that being said Angela kang did the best she could to save it and Scott gimple did the impossible and made some sense out of everything with the ones who live however if it stuck to plan A this show would of been the greatest of all time Rick would have been perfect in whisper war reapers at commonwealth arch

He is the only villain in the walking dead that isn’t really a villain if you look at the story from his side

Jerry is the most underrated character on TWD. Every time you see him, you smile. And he is usually smiling. I actually never thought he would not make it to the end. He is the guy that you would want to hang out with, as well as on your side in a fight. But then on a dime, he is acting like they aren't in a zombie apocalypse. Love it.

12:25 I stopped watching prior to the Alpha storyline, basically because of MY most hated character…JADIS. The WORST!

Was searching around for a deep dive of the history of youtube horror series, and while this video is a nice overview of a handful of series important to analog horror specifically, a LOT of parts of the timeline are missed, the period between slenderseries and the birth of analog horror, which had a lot of development for ARGs and found footage style series, but mostly dark web creeypy video style horror a la Meatsleep. I'd hope you might have some interest in doing a deeper dive into web horror and a lot of the other series from the last 15 years that defined the medium. There's a lot more cool stuff in there.

With all due respect coming from a person who watched every season of the TWD, Glen is overrated. Yes he is very important to the show especially since he saved Rick back in season one, and yes Glen has a good character arch over the seasons so i get the appeal. In my opinion besides Negan upon his intro, i feel Rick was the standout.

I honestly thought Pamela Milton in the final season was one of the best villains just because of how relatable she was to our real life villains. It was kinda like Umbridge in Harry Potter. Everyone hated her more than voldemort because everyone has met an Umbridge, we have also all known of Pamela Miltons as they pollute our political systems. Negan's still my favorite villain, but I though she was done well too.

Only criticism, and it's a small one: This definitely isn't just a Gen Z thing. I'm a millenial and know plenty of others who enjoy liminal space media, and I've even seen some Gen X'ers say the same in comments elsewhere.

I liked Alpha.

People always talk shit on Negan for coercing his wives into being with him but I never see anyone say shit about Shane straight up trying to r*pe Lori at the CDC. In fact people still talk about how much they like Shane and how great of a survivor that hot-headed idiot was. Yeah what Negan did was wrong but it was quite tame in the big picture. Doesn't even seem like he had sex with most of them on a regular basis, with the exception of Dwight's wife who he definitely had a thing for. The worst thing he did was throw the doctor in the fire and that was even out of character for him and felt like the writers made him do that just to emphasize that he was the BBEG for the arc. Simon was objectively more evil than him and yet I never see anyone say shit about him.

i distinctly remember somewhere that stranger things was meant to be a show where each season focused on a new set of characters with a different plot that centered around something weird going on in their lives. Thats probably why season 1 was wrapped up so nicely because the original plan was to make a new season with a new plot line.

Please stay at this. Starting a good channel can be so hard and demoralising putting in so much work and not seeing the huge numbers. But I PROMISE you that you just got to keep at this and it will be uphill from here because this content is quality. And your works not for low views either, one day this will be huge
