    Only issue or possible issue that I see with the alldogs offroad upper control arms is the big cup above the ball joint. I got a tube of silicone and filled it level with the top so it won't hold mud and water and can just pull the silicone plug when I need to grease and refill it after.

    Darn. I subscribed because of the Crosstrek. A definite inspiration for me. I'm looking to downsize from a pickup. Oh well, I'll stay subscribed. I like your content.

      @@Levi-nx4or I got rid of it in Feb, it's just too small for my needs. Honestly the Frontier doesn't have much more space, but it fits all my gear perfectly, and that's what I was after.

    Been considering the Koni setup for my frontier,thanks you and Donald both seem impressed! I’m sold

    • @TheAdventureZombie
      @TheAdventureZombie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a great setup. The Ironman Kits feel like a work truck. Just stiff and bouncy. The ADO springs with Koni's is probably 100% smoother on bumps, and just as stiff on corners.

    Just finished the video up and I want to thank you for linking me here to answer my questions, now I’ve got another one I think I know your answer is “no I havent”. I believe (I KNOW THE 82’s) are adjustable. They have to be “turned” separately top vs bottom while unbolted, (or at least 1 bolt out swing free to manipulate the unbolted side by turning. Pretty sure it adjusts the rebound speed. I’m going to do my install so I guess I can let you know unless you already know. My lil 3/16” Westin mini bumper and winch won’t be as heavy as that anchor glued to your nose (I LOVE IT!) but hopefully I don’t hit anything too hard haha. Thanks a ton good sir!!!

    • @TheAdventureZombie
      @TheAdventureZombie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @jasongaudreau2075 The 90s are adjustable as well, but you probably won't need to adjust them at all. I didn't need any adjustments. Glad I was able to answer some of your questions about the 90s :)

    @PhatboyHD88 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ya might wanna get some of those heavy duty self tapping bolts and put some more in those frame braces for the sliders . There is plenty of room there for at least 2 more per brace. One bolt each wont hold the weight i dont think if the whole weight of the truck is resting on them , like if you were turtled ,, just my thoughts anyway ..

      I think they ship overseas, but I'm not sure. Alldogsoffroad.com if you want to check. The Frontier is Nissan's midsize truck, you might know it as the Navara. But yeah, thank you for the kind words :)

    how much of a lift did you get from this kit? We just purchased a 2016 Frontier. J & C

    Did the 1/2" spacers cause interference with the upper control arm and the mount?

  • @Max-wd8ox
    @Max-wd8ox ปีที่แล้ว +1

    @The Adventure Zombie What mpg do you get in town and on the freeway with the lift? thank you

    • @TheAdventureZombie
      @TheAdventureZombie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I honestly couldn't answer that. After the lift I pretty much right away put bigger tires on, and more armor so it's pretty hard to answer. I will say I didn't notice much difference in the time between the lift and tires though.

    • @TheAdventureZombie
      @TheAdventureZombie  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Two inches over stock height, but two and a half in the front since I used a 1/2" spacer to level the front out.

    Those konis looks awesome. Why the 90 over the 82? Are the 90 as smooth as the 82 but they just have more oil? I'm thinking about installing them on my Xterra.

    • @TheAdventureZombie
      @TheAdventureZombie  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, that's exactly it. Larger oil tank helps them keep cool longer over long stretches of off roading. Like miles on end. Basically the same shock though from my understanding.

    • @kevinstarski1598
      @kevinstarski1598 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Based on their website, don't use 90 unless you're carrying a lot of stuff, steel bumpers and whatnot. Just wanted to point it out that they are used for slightly different application, from what I understand
