It been sometime since I played this game but I remember it was with the home key, or the Ins key on the keyboard. Im sure it is on that group of keys. Yo can also check the option menu and search for the keyboard settings
It seems like a "timing" issue, try to turn in time, if you turn too late (or brake too late) you will continue straight over the curve; if you turn too early and slow you will cut the corner; try to "feel" the handling and behavior of the car, every car is different; I would recommend you to start with slower cars and get used to the feeling of the game, then go for faster cars. Do not try to turn while braking; front tires could get blocked and you would go straight (brake before the curve-> turn as necessary and release throttle, once you see you're leaving the turn start accelerate). As always it's a matter of practice, with time you will drive better and better.
If I remember correctly (it is been a while since I played it) is with pag up or pag down, home or insert keys, you know the ones that are above arrow keys.

@@casualgamer9632 it is c or insert
i not found this camera settings
How I switch the camera? I enjoyed the video!
I hope it is not too late; I have sometime since I played it; if C key doesn't change it I think "Insert" key is the one you are looking for.
I use my Mouse, I think its easier than a keyboard - and its cheaper than a wheel
Use the mouse option, its pretty fun and good. You need to change the options though.
how did you get this camera angle??

Yes mouse is the right way to go if you cant afford a steering wheel set up.
