Dear Dr., according to slide (7.42sec) you shown yield be 21%
the weight of sample 3200g (mi)
weight after activated 570g (mf)
yield % = (mf\mi) X100 = (570\3200) X100 = 17.8%
I hope I'm wrong.

you are wrong since before the activation the material sample was 600g and not the complete 704g that was achieved after carbonization
