Would activated carbon be the superior choice for creating microorganism occupied char for agriculture use ( Since activated carbon has more surface area for microbiology to be absorbed into)?

The exact question I have right now, also bringing me to this video. So far I have not found an answer anywhere online. Worth a try? Activated carbon has 50-150 times the surface area of charcoal. If that translates "only" into 3-5 times the microbial activity of terra preta made with ordinary charcoal, it would be already an incredible result!

I would argue that the strong negative charge of activated carbon may not be a great environment for microbial life, perhaps the variability of differences of mineral content of different biomass for charcoal production is inhibitive to the goal, starting with mineral free activated carbon and then adding the minerals you want then adding microbes and microbe food is closer to the best way

@@moderndiogenes I did not know it had a negative charge, that's awesome. I propose it would definitely be amazing. th-cam.com/video/_7PvCBYKqlw/w-d-xo.html
