I bet they will hold off using the full fledged Batman theme until the character reaches a turning point and becomes the mature version we already know.
It makes sense since this is young Batman, he is still angry and seeking vengeance for the death of his parents. Him being angry at everything and everyone bad in Gothamfor their deaths is one of the most honest things about him.

Well it’s a little easier to make marvel characters in movies DC‘s characters are more God like in a way hard to explain but a character like superman with a movie isn’t as easy as people think and marvel characters it’s easy to put them in a movie then we’re grounded PCs characters are more out there and extravagant with their abilities being so powerful like Superman that’s why many directors have come out and said it’s harder to make a movie or a show about someone as powerful as superman it’s a little easier with the flash but still just as hard try not to make it repetitive like superman so I get really pissed off that the movies do so bad but I also kind a get it what they were trying to do how they were trying to do Plus a big thing is Disney who owns marvel there is only one dude in control of everything so everything mostly stays together DC with Warner Brothers has tons of people working on tons of things to keep the creative differences a lot that’s why there else world stories are so good and they’re able to make bigger else world stories because of that dynamic they have so even though that may be harder in the long run it does make for more creative and more out their stories
We already know The Bat and The Cat are in a relationship. That's a given going back to Adam West. The key to making this film great will come from Pattinson and Dano. It's a Batman vs. Riddler movie. Penguin is a side character.

This is a much younger Batman. Much angrier and more reckless. Like he said, he doesn't care what happens to himself. In his early days, Batman was basically consumed by his rage and pain and need for vengeance. Only with time and the growing of the Bat-Family did he start to develope his wisdom.

How? Godzilla this March showed you can be huge if you are good enough. It would be a sure shot One Billion movie if not for the conditions that time. Still the highest grossing WB movie of the year, and we are talking from a point where it was seemed as a gamble while August's Suicide Squad and October's Dune were seen sure shot blockbusters. We have seen what happened to TSS. Improved pandemic, opened theaters, vaccinations did nothing bring people to the theaters.

@MortalGamerDC1 85 I get nervous when trailers are edited to hide certain actors performance, and they seemed to hide a lot of his performance. They did show his actions scenes, however, there could be stunt double, cgi doubles, or maybe he’s actually better at the action scenes overall. The part that took me out of the trailer was when he talked through the glass screen. It seemed really forced and unnatural, but one could argue that he’s purposely portraying the character like that because it’s his early years. So yeah I’m not totally sold because of Batman himself, but everything else looks good for the most part.

Bale is a great actor. The Dark Knight is a great movie thanks to Heath. But I never liked the aesthetics from the Nolan trilogy. Hated the voice, Batmobile, and Gotham being Chicago in the first two. Burton has the best designs.

I just love the raw anger in the trailer. You can feel Batman's emotions. Not a brooding guy, not a rich guy, just a lot of rage. LOVE IT!

From what I’ve read, Bruce is either year one or two of being Batman. So of course he’s gonna be somewhat inexperienced.

So happy for Lenny & Lisa's daughter and Aquaman's stepdaughter. Her big break. She was so underutilized in X-Men: First Class as Angel. Hardly noticed she was in it. She's frickin' gorgeous in It's Kind Of A Funny Story.

Sorry to disagree but Ben Afflecks Batman is the most comicbook accurate. From looks to fighting style.

@@thepoppunx are you serious. Affleck looks like the comic version just from his suit alone. Never in the comics has Batman looked like he does in this movie. In the comics its blue and gray or black and gray. Only thing missing is the blue trunks.
Grace would know this. Her city is nicknamed Gotham. Chicago and NYC have different looking skylines. The Dark Knight is the GOAT Batman movie but it's not even my favorite Nolan movie. It's The Prestige.

How? Godzilla this March showed you can be huge if you are good enough. It would be a sure shot One Billion movie if not for the conditions that time. Still the highest grossing WB movie of the year, and we are talking from a point where it was seemed as a gamble while August's Suicide Squad and October's Dune were seen sure shot blockbusters. We have seen what happened to TSS. Improved pandemic, opened theaters, vaccinations did nothing bring people to the theaters.

In addition to the film overall having a dark theatric tone that fits well with the ominous holiday, that would also allow for more cushion for the pandemic to run its course - or as much as possible.
@MortalGamerDC1 85 I get nervous when trailers are edited to hide certain actors performance, and they seemed to hide a lot of his performance. They did show his actions scenes, however, there could be stunt double, cgi doubles, or maybe he’s actually better at the action scenes overall.
The part that took me out of the trailer was when he talked through the glass screen. It seemed really forced and unnatural, but one could argue that he’s purposely portraying the character like that because it’s his early years.
So yeah I’m not totally sold because of Batman himself, but everything else looks good for the most part.
Keaton, Affleck, and Pattinson all as Batman next year already makes 2022 the greatest year for Batman fans. The three greatest Batmans. Christian Bale, who again? The guy who went on a tirade at a production crew worker?

Bale is a great actor. The Dark Knight is a great movie thanks to Heath. But I never liked the aesthetics from the Nolan trilogy. Hated the voice, Batmobile, and Gotham being Chicago in the first two. Burton has the best designs.

Really wished movies (highly anticipated) would come out months apart...to avoid unnecessary competition! Like for real, there's a whole 12 months in a year!! Strange comes out first (cuz of timeline and all) and then this one months after!!!

It’s not “just like the comic” this ventures more on the realism side. Not as much as Nolan but does favor the realism side more than the comics side.

Marvel moving everything back a couple of months did a huge favour for The Batman. They'll have plenty of space to dominate the box office now.
$750m is a very impressive money for a film with unorthodox style, realistic story, minimum fictional vfx, and long runtime, not to mention new casts and minimum amount of fan-service aspect! 🦇

This Batman movie looks lame. That trash psycho isn't Batman and the Penguin is cheesy. Catwoman looks cool though. She looks comic accurate.
I'm sorry Grace but this just looks like an updated version of another realistic take on the Batman. Ben Affleck's Batman is still the only Batman that have the comicbook fantasy elements.
It's so cinematic, I love it. Man, I love the MCU and I am so pumped for No Way Home, but this is what they are missing. The MCU looks so visually bland compared to any of the DC films and even just to this trailer's stills really.
