WB never fought us before, not us united.
There will no doubt be similar scenes and story beats, but between the change in tone and an extra 2 hrs, the experience should still be vastly different.
He should've said "he's never fought Superman, alone". That would've been more accurate

@@mo6live I didn't know that, tried to avoid leaks and spoilers, so I just knew the JSA was gonna be in it. Dr Fate was a huge surprise for me, he's one of my favourite DC characters, up there with Batman, Green Lantern and Constantine.

Can’t really call it Whedon’s version when most of its idea stems from the execs of WB wanting to change everything to make it mainstream and easily digestible for the average audience.
The cinematographer that worked with Snyder said whedon only used 10% of Snyder’s scenes.
After watching this I have a sudden urge to slap Joss Whedon.

I love the idea of it being split into Four Episodes as well as a full feature length cut, but black and white is unnecessary. I want to see the beautiful colors Zack puts on display. Hopefully they give you both options.
Everything in this trailer looks completely different than the Josstice version. The color correction and detailed action sequences are already better than what we got. I know HBO MAX needs to make there money back , but maybe after a years or so can they release it in 4K Blu Ray. That would be great!

Snyders lighting is heavily inspired by classic noir films. So I think it’ll go nicely. But by the sounds of it, we get to pick and choose how we want to see it. Which is nice for them to do

Incredible. The full Snyder vision realized. A "Dark" DCEU for a reason: Darkseid.
The problem with the DCEU films is that some of that are too dark. Batman films are meant to be dark, but Superman films are meant to inspire hope.

Jacob Palmer too dark? I still don’t get that. They are always dark and it’s garbage that they scapegoat Zack. Constantine, Batman 1989, Batman returns, Dark knight, dark knight rises, and countless animated features. They made Superman a bright colored golden boy thing because of Christopher Reeves, but damn let him have that version and embrace new takes.

I got nervous after hearing that because I was still working myself put of the headspace of thinking these hack journalists are actually trustworthy. This trailer was the nail in the coffin for that way of thinking and now I know for a fact that these "journalists" are the most dishonest people in the industry.
Can't say much until I see it myself...the tone is different for sure. But that's the magic of editing and trailer....sooo I'll judge it when I see it.

I was against the Snyder Cut. But after giving it so much thought, I came to the conclusion art is about expressing ourselves and experiencing it as an opened spectator. Art is not about "well made or badly made". at least for me.
