  • We took a short shuttle from OAXACA CITY to check out the ancient capital city of MONTE ALBAN. It was the most picturesque spot we've ever been to; absolutely breathtaking. Afterward, we went back to Mercado 20 de Noviembre for a tlayuda and amarillo de pollo, and it ended up being some of the best food we had in MEXICO!
OAXACA has so much to offer, and we completely have fallen in love with this city. We can't wait to visit again!

    ABOUT US
We’re Sean and Elliot, two thirty-something former musical theatre actors and restaurant industry veterans with a passion for food and travel.
In 2015 we got married, said goodbye to our acting ambitions, quit our day jobs, and decided to spend our honeymoon on a one-year Working Holiday Visa backpacking throughout New Zealand. That once-in-a-lifetime experience changed our perspective and opened us up to the possibility of long-term travel.
2020 was a brutal year for us, but it gave us the opportunity to rethink our priorities and commit ourselves to our dream of traveling the world together. So in August of 2021, we sold all of our stuff and bought a one-way ticket to Mexico with the plan to travel for as long as we possibly can.
Make sure to subscribe to follow our trip and catch up with our weekly videos. New Episodes every Saturday at 10am CST. The adventure is just beginning!

Beautiful. Loved how you panned the ruins and the gorgeous views slowly, so your viewers can enjoy the scenery at a leisurely pace. The mellow music in the background was perfect. Your dinner at the mercado looked delicious. Excellent video you two! 😊💕

Thanks Maria! We’re glad you enjoyed it! We love making these videos to look back on. Sean picks out all the music. And that meal was probably our favorite in MEXICO. 💚💙

*I hope you have time and chance to go to Santa Maria del Tule where you will find the giant and ancient tree, is a beautiful place*
*If you're not sure just Google the images and you're gonna be astonished*
*BTW, something you need and have to know it's that Oaxaca is one of the most cultural and traditions richest states in Mexico*

Unfortunately we didn’t get to go to the Tule tree this time. But we will definitely be back in Oaxaca at some point. We absolutely fell in love with it.
