Great video! I have a deer problem. The deer are eating all my bushes and flowers. Can you tell me if I were to buy these repellents is it better to put them near each bush or on the perimeter of the fence where they jump over to get into the backyard?
All due respect, not taking time to have "trail cam" video of the actual performance with a cat/dog/gopher/whatever coming near the thing renders the video nothing more than blind marketing for the company. I'm not trying to be harsh, but here's the reality of reality: Companies tell us all the time how fantastic their products are. Then when people get them and put them to use, far too often they don't work, have problems, etc. In the case of an animal repellant, this is a HUGE deal to those of us plagued by troublesome pets or animals. In my case it's Gophers digging tunnels under my patio and dregging up massive amounts of dirt/sand from underneath, or now this spring the appearance of stray cats leaving poop in my garden for me to step on. Re-do the video somewhere you can video the random encounter with animals. Because I've seen videos of what appears to be that very unit, or one that's identical in shape/layout, and there's video of cats walking up to it and sniffing it, not deterred at all. Was that video credible? I don't know. it did however at least present a true review/test of the thing in action. That's really the only thing of worth given what the product CLAIMS it does.
I actually have two.of them on my new property. I bought 3 of them during the filming of that video. Thank goodness I did, because they work very well. When I first moved into my home here in January 17, 2022 I had cats walking in front and pissing everywhere. I do not like alley cats / strays!! However, I do applaud you to write such a long response to my video, these do work very very well. It will be a hard thing to prove because I no longer have a alley cat problem, but I can create another video of where they are placed and perhaps more believable? One thing I do not do is lie about a products performance. I do product reviews to keep honest people honest. I purchase all products myself unless I specifically tell you it was given to me. Either way, I will always tell the truth about a product regardless if it was given to me or not. I take pride in the videos I create for everyone to see and it gives me great pleasure to know I am helping those who want my help in choosing the right products for them. I go by the three Ps. Purpose, Passion and Pride. I am not in the business to lie to anyone. It's unethical and that's not what I do. I have seen other videos of people testing them out and it definitely works. I also read Amazon reviews. My neighbor of 36 years has been telling me for a long time to get some for my yard. he said ever since he got his, he has not seen one cat on his yard.
The one my neighbor installed and aimed at my front door and my sidewalk, when activated sounds like a stun gun. I think it causes problems with my heart. I have two cats and I think these things damage cats hearing over time. I dont belive that a cat is the one that is pissing all over your yard. I have cameras front and back and I have two cats and feed 3 others. Never seen then piss or crap in my yard or my neighbors yard

So, mine are completely charged unless sitting turned off for 2 days on my deck in direct sunlight for 6 hours each day didn't give it a full charge both of my two units seemingly detect things up to 30 + feet away and when they are mounted in my backyard close to the grass extended to the max height the grass blowing and leaves Blowing by sets It Off. And when I have it in my front yard cars driving by set it off when not directly pointed at the road seemingly headlights set the machine off. Good in Theory and I've seen it make cats run away but Annoying my neighbors all night and all day long when it's randomly set off because of a leaf Blowing by or the wind blowing is really crazy there's no way to dial back the sensitivity which is crazy
2:30 I could hear it off the video as well. Watching this because my parents bought something similar, was standing outside talking to my dad and this horrible piercing noise started from the device. They couldn't hear it at all.
Is there one that works for spiders indoors? I see a bunch of them online and people claim it's just a scam. They don't have any certifications to prove that they do work.
Thanks Joe for this I been having Squirrel Wars tried everything from electronic hooting head rotating owls to pissing in the yard they walk right over my personalized territory markers. Bought a couple of the devices and I have my yard back, metaphor ? Back-yard-Back! Have not seen one squirrel. Keep up the good reviews we are listening!
I’m going to give this a try! We have a feral cat problem in my block. I try to contact our local animal shelter, my local city animal control, and I can’t get help anywhere. I spent more than $3000 installing sod on my front and back yard this spring, and after 5 months, my lawn is disgusting with dead spots everywhere!! My kids can’t even come out to play because all the cat poop and urine. I try to clean as much as I can, but some times I have to go out 2 to 3 times daily to pick up after the cats! I tried chemical and natural repellents but they are so costly I can’t keep spending $60 a week and DIY solutions just don’t work. I’m really loosing my mind here!! (Sorry for the rant)
Sorry Joe, but you missed this one. This unit is NOT a good product. I bought four (4) of them and they seemed to operate fine (I said "operate", not "work as advertised"). I used an Arlo camera and caught a deer walking up to the unit. It set it off with the ultrasonic sound and flashing light. The deer acted as if it was not there...it grazed and slowly walked on as they always do. Then within 2 weeks, ALL FOUR units failed to work at all. I kept them in sunlight so there was not a charging issue from lack of light. So I deem this a bad unit(s) and returned them to get my money back. I'm not saying it may not work on all animals at all times, but it did not work for me and I have video evidence. Plus the all the units I purchased did not hold for more than 2 weeks. I purposefully got this unit with the flashing light thinking that would help in startling the animals...but it sure did not work on the deer in my yard. I'm going to go with a water spray motion activation unit next before trying anything else like this.
Hi. I have a squirrel problem. Trying to stop them from getting on the roof and getting into attic. I just received my repellers and the squirrels point of entry is from the woods behind my house and onto the fence. Do you think if I put the repeller in the ground the motion sensor will reach to the top of the fence? It’s a standard wood fence height.
@@clodiamandes7153 they didn’t work. I ended having several tress cut down to limit access to my fence. It stopped so many from coming because it was too far to leap from the remaining trees. They still get on the fence but tremendously less often.
Hello Joe. I just got one like yours from Amazon. I'm not too familiar with solar charging. Excuse my ignorance, but I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. Does the thing have to be on for it to solar charge? I've had it getting sunlight for 3 hours and I only notice a dimly blue light on the motion sensor, and the small red light blinks, and no activity on the strobe light. Any suggestions? I planted new grass seed in an 11'x11' diameter area where a large tree stump used to be, and my grass seed germinated, but there's a little critter ( I don't know if it's a squirrel, rabbit, or mole) that keeps digging small quarter size holes, and I'm hoping this pest repeller will deter it. Yes, I haven't had anything come through my yard since I have installed it. Sae plenty birds though.. Doves, Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles, you name it.. they all come.. great cheap device..
Do you know what I need to do if the red light keeps blinking rapidly even if no one/nothing is passing by? I already turned it off for hours. The same thing happens when I turn it on again. I think it's malfunctioning and i don't know how to fix it.

Difficult to do. I really do not want ro turn off the device. Wife is happy that there isn't any cats in the yard hangin out on top of our shed. I wouldn't promote fake products that do nothing. Not ethical
Same here. If you search eco friendly ultrasonic animal repeller - 50 products come up. Ritodrinli unit seems to look similar, but not sure. I imagine half the ones out there are junk, so just want to be sure it's at least made by the same company before I order as the unit may have been updated or changed in last two years. My neighbour’s dog is an ahole. My kids can even play in our backyard because he always barks at them despite the fence. Hope this keep him out that side of the fence.
My neighbors are The same they allow their Dogs to pee and poo in plps front yard! And leave their cat out! Its extremely rude im supper allergies and when i go take care of my plants my hands bruned i didnt know why until i put cameras i honestly hate that there isnt a law for such things plp are rude poor animals don't know better because their own dont train them.

I bought the Ego single stage snowblower based on one of those and it was horrible. Everything from Run time to throwing distance couldn't compare to a gas Toro.

I actually purchased this and received it a few days ago. I got it to keep rabbits out my yard. Mannnnnnn this some trash. I have two in my yard and yesterday I saw rabbits in my yard and they were not moved by this device. Save your money people 👎👎👎👎

Mine just arrived today. I have it out in the sun for a couple of hours before 1st use as instructed. I am praying that it will work. Stray cats coming into my fenced in yard are causing me anxiety.

You have to be responsible for YOUR animals and keep them on your own property. If your cat gets hurt it's because you are an irresponsible pet owner. You are also responsible for everything your cat does when it's not on your property. If this is asking too much you should not have pets because you are a bad pet owner. You remind me of those people that let their dogs run free in the neighborhood and get all pissy when they are hit by a car or eat a diseased animal and die.

I hope you used a sound high enough. If the sound is too low, it can harm your kids.

Bats don't hurt humans in general. They might eat mosquito's and flies. You should not touch them though.

I actually purchased this and received it a few days ago. I got it to keep rabbits out my yard. Mannnnnnn this some trash. I have two in my yard and yesterday I saw rabbits in my yard and they were not moved by this device. Save your money people 👎👎👎👎

You have to be responsible for YOUR animals and keep them on your own property. If your cat gets hurt it's because you are an irresponsible pet owner. You are also responsible for everything your cat does when it's not on your property. If this is asking too much you should not have pets because you are a bad pet owner.
You remind me of those people that let their dogs run free in the neighborhood and get all pissy when they are hit by a car or eat a diseased animal and die.

The younger people can hear it.. as you get older we can't. That's what kids do in school. Set ringtones so only they can hear it.
