Hua Hin is a retirement destination for expats that lived and worked in Thailand, my collages and I are playing Black mountain next week… Great videos on Thai golf.😊😊😊😊
I play the course same day - I come in the car when you recording at 18:35 🙂 Very busy day at the course, a lot waiting, take us 4h38m. But no problem, it's holiday. Many brown spots on the fairways, but no problems - And yes, VERY fast greens, listen to the Caddie. Enjoy Hua Hin, thanks for good video's.... 83 is a good score 🙂
Nice video, like your swing and the joy in your play. We played Black Mountain twice now and like it. Hope you will also play Majestic Creek in one of your next videos.
Great content and channel. Played BM and the Banyan for my 40th, years ago 😂 big thanks for my brother for organising it, can tell you how lucky I feel to have played them, amazing scenery and great golf. Ice towels at the halfway house and shrines in the mountains ❤
Another good video. Unfortunately you played BM in its worst condition ever. There was no rain for over 2 years. The course was devastated. They did their best to keep the greens and tee boxes in good shape. The good news is the course is now back in fantastic condition. The rains returned. 🙏🏽 I hope you return and play BM again. To see the true condition of this course. I have had a house there since 2010.
Well played Shan, tough track. I played after a National tournament. Greens and hole position were very quick. Enjoyed ur content and golf. Keep up the great work. Be lucky 🍀 Paul.
Great video and very informative! I’m planning to visit Hua Hin next week and hoping to get early tee times. Watching helps me formulate a strategy to play a bit better (at least that’s the plan 😅)
I wonder if it's also because it's drier this time of the year (less tropical storms)? Could also be maintenance Last time I came to Thailand was in November and the conditions were better, more green and soft fairways 😊
No rain for very very long time. The raining season not give so much rain last year to the resoviors (spell wrong 😀). Even the main greenkeeper stopped last year. But still a good course.
It's definitely my favourite course in Thailand so far. It's easy to relate to your round. The only difference is that the greens were slow when I played last June, as the greens were recently cored.
I once played Royal Hua Hin (wouldn’t recommend) and played behind 3 5 somes, on the par 5 that meant 30 people on the hole(players and caddies). Anyway, nice back 9. Enjoy the Land of Smiles!
That reminds me of a time several years ago when I was playing in Bangkok. There were 4 groups waiting on the tee box (about the 4th hole) so one of the groups started a card game..😂😂
I played Black Mountain in December : faiways were more green but course was very busy too. was waiting 15 minutes each hole while be pushing by the team behind !?! Not the best conditions to focus on the game.
My bf has the vokeys and they're really nice! I have PXG sugar daddy wedges 😊 I really like them. Just need to get the chipping feel again after winter. Taking a higher iron is a great idea for these super tight lies!
Hit 4 of my longest drives ever on this course….managed to smash one 350 yards on the 6th one day and 300 yards over the bunker on the right on the 377 yard 9th….and then proceeded to get down in 6 from 77 yards 😂😂😂
This course is not the same course anymore. Are is not taking care well and stuff are rude. Did you ever hear a sudden maintenance closure? They move our tee off times by saying maintenance
As per comment below, for some reason you decided to play BM when it was devastated by drought. Suggest you come back and redo it. Or better just watch the men play it off the proper tees in the Asian Tour event. You literally played about half its length.
Hello from Bangkok. Thank you for beautiful video and nice golf swing. Hope to see them more. 🙏🏻 From your golf performance, I believed you can turn pro easily too if you wanted to. 🏌️♀️🥇

Hello! It was a busy day

I still really enjoyed the course, but can tell it was a bit thirsty hahaha Thanks for commenting that!
How are you liking living there?
@@KasperViggoJensen it is fantastic. Great community with many events and things to do. Quiet with clean air.

Thank you 😊
Your ranking of the Hua Hin/Pattaya courses would be fun! Love your videos.
Great video and very informative! I’m planning to visit Hua Hin next week and hoping to get early tee times. Watching helps me formulate a strategy to play a bit better (at least that’s the plan 😅)
Good luck! Careful of the greens 😂
this girl got some really nice swings
Great video,
But what happened to the course, it was lush green when I played it with not a brown patch to be seen
I think a lot of the courses struggled with maintenance funds during covid.
I wonder if it's also because it's drier this time of the year (less tropical storms)? Could also be maintenance

@@GolfwithShan good point

Where are you now? @@GolfwithShan
Very nice content. New subscriber. TTT
Welcome!
Hi Is there no memberships ?
I’m using the same driver as you and love it. Do you like the matching fairway wood? I’m thinking about getting the 5 wood. Great video btw 👍
I actually like my woods more than the driver! Overall, I'd say their irons are the best 😊 woods and driver are great, on par with other brands
Both here and in Santiburi in Koh Samui, I struggled to see the putting line. I see downhill, Caddy says uphill. Playing Bayan tomorrow morning
yep! I trust the caddies. They see these greens everyday 😂
I'll be posting Banyan soon. It was my favorite course in Hua hin! Enjoy your round!
@@GolfwithShan it played slow at 8am. Waited on just about every hole. Club selection on the tee is key.
@@GolfwithShan but it's hard to put when you're not seeing what they are. My speed totally sucked. LOL

Once the greens dry up after sunrise, they really speed up! I think the official speed is around 10
You have a great golf swing, but like the rest of us, we need to improve our short game, go and look up Dan Grieves on TH-cam.
Happy golfing Shan.
yes

I have noticed a couple times in Thailand, they allow groups of 5... But it's usual locals. Maybe members? I'm not sure. Thank you!
That reminds me of a time several years ago when I was playing in Bangkok. There were 4 groups waiting on the tee box (about the 4th hole) so one of the groups started a card game..😂😂
This golf course is very beautiful yet difficult. If this is your first time here, you are doing good
Come to Laos and play golf 😊
What was the cost of the round please? This is probably the best video of a Hua Hin course I've seen :)
Cost is in the description section! We booked through GolfSavers.
Thank you so much! 😊
Played here January and quite busy very hot and fast greens. Just a little expensive in my mind and pro shop tops are over priced
Haha the pro shop prices are always crazy!
@@GolfwithShan lol they were charging 4000bht a top!! 1200bht at Springfield (course logo ones)
I played Black Mountain in December : faiways were more green but course was very busy too.
was waiting 15 minutes each hole while be pushing by the team behind !?! Not the best conditions to focus on the game.
It's definitely a popular course! And yes I totally understand - Not sure why the group behind would rush you when clearly everyone is waiting.
those grainy chips are tough. caught up your 56 wedge pretty bad.
try 9 iron bump run .
did u get new vokeys?
My bf has the vokeys and they're really nice! I have PXG sugar daddy wedges 😊 I really like them. Just need to get the chipping feel again after winter. Taking a higher iron is a great idea for these super tight lies!
Sorry (but not sorry), but you two are almost always running late for your tee times 😂 great production and narration as always ❤
We tend to underestimate traffic 😂 thank you for watching!

Great play let’s play once❤
Wow it’s really dried out. What a shame. Hope they get their water issues solved soon.

Another reason for early golf is because of honeydues. 😢
