I've owned both, have the G80 now after selling CT4 BW, both great cars. If you want a manual then the Caddie is the only way to go. If you prefer the better overall package, room for the family, able to drive in any weather, the best tech, better interior, then the M3 is the way to go. Caddie does have better steering, suspension (mag ride) and is more of a driver's car if that makes sense. M3 is a little sterile at times but is way faster, better traction with xDrive and much better tech. I prefer the M3 but if you wanna save $20k, buy the Blackwing!! Can't go wrong with either, each car fits a slightly different lifestyle.
Im not sure where you're getting that the M3 is way faster than the black wing. If you get the lower trim level M3 it does 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds where the Blackwing CT4-V does it in 3.7. If you get the upper trim level M3 it does it in 3.4 seconds which is the same as the upper level CTV-5.
I driven both, my M3CX just feels way faster, talking about a second difference between the cars, real world the CT4-V BW will do 0-60 in about 3.9 - 4.0 seconds and my M3 can do 0-60 in 3 seconds flat. xDrive makes all the difference and the M3 is a rocket out of a dig. M3 is also more than a second faster in the 1/4 mile (12.4 compared to 11.2), yes it's way faster. M3 is also underrated in HP and probably closer to 520-530 HP with 479 torque and the 4BW is at 472 hp and 442 torque. The numbers prove the M3 is "way" faster, but I'm telling you from my experience the M3 is much faster. I'm not saying its a better driver's car, I actually think the Caddie is manual is the better drivers car between the two. They are very different cars. @@Butmyballsitch

You forgot to mention that the car itself comes with flat foot shifting, it allows to not release the gas while you're shifting unlike other manual cars and as a plus it sort of works as an lesser anti-lag as it keeps the turbo spooled up in between shifts.

Cadillac’s design is vastly stronger than BMW’s currently, so I’d go with Cadillac I literally couldn’t care less about performance, handling, comfort, efficiency, quality, or price. Design is my #1 factor. The rest is just icing on the cake.

There is no “Base” Blackwing, this is the top of the line model. Blackwing is the equivalent of getting an M car from BMW, it comes with all the bells and whistles already because its the top trim model.
@Sirens there is always add ons in the trim itself. You can get a fully loaded car, but base sticker and what is also added on in the car makes it expensive. Example certain color paints, brakes, the interior color etc. And knowing cadilac if it isn't black a different leather color can be 5k

Blue paint with red seat belts and red brake calipers, brown leather, etc. Most ones set up to look nice will be around 78k. Mine was 77k but they didn't put my carbon fiber package on bc of supply issues.
If you want one of the most fun rwd manual sedans on sale today you buy the caddy. If you are strictly looking for awd, a bump up in interior quality and insane potential whether on the track, 1/4 mile or 60-130 you get the bmw

Scat pack power with a 10spd, 1000lbs lighter & it’s a V6 so you get better fuel economy. I’d definitely opt for this!
Plus the interior is 1000% nicer

Honestly I'm a M3 Competition guy and would take it over this but not going to lie that's a nice ride. Beautiful inside and out; and she sounds good. 👌🏼

There is no “Base” Blackwing, this is the top of the line model. Blackwing is the equivalent of getting an M car from BMW, it comes with all the bells and whistles already because its the top trim model.
@Sirens there is always add ons in the trim itself. You can get a fully loaded car, but base sticker and what is also added on in the car makes it expensive. Example certain color paints, brakes, the interior color etc. And knowing cadilac if it isn't black a different leather color can be 5k

@@Jackdiddly1 the most expensive CT4 BW possible is 81k. That's with all the most expensive options, that don't match each other lol. Blue paint with red seat belts and red brake calipers, brown leather, etc. Most ones set up to look nice will be around 78k. Mine was 77k but they didn't put my carbon fiber package on bc of supply issues.

If you want one of the most fun rwd manual sedans on sale today you buy the caddy. If you are strictly looking for awd, a bump up in interior quality and insane potential whether on the track, 1/4 mile or 60-130 you get the bmw
