Quick question is that trap made of plywood?
Some are made of 3/4” plywood flooring and some are just old langstroth 10-frame’s

How could he not be getting stung more often?
when the bees are swarming they don’t have a hive to defend. In my experience they’ll only sting you if they think their life is threatened. I try to work slowly and carefully.
