I think this would be a great thing thing if it became commonplace. The whole online dating thing has become a toxic cesspool. People are too online and it would be good to encourage people to meet IRL again.

@@HSTRTGMSI think the real issue is that it’s an item that needs mass adoption to matter so you need something else to pair alongside this to make it a business.
I think that if something like this was a cool design, there is certainly an audience of people burned out from online dating that would use these and proper branding could make people proud to be single with these instead embarrassed.

The Glow Faster clothing would be a good idea to sell for festivals and nightclubs. It's more a novelty than anything else, and it would be easier to get people who are high/drunk to buy it. Could definitely see someone making a cool outfit for Burning Man or Glastonbury with a kit from Glow Faster.

Another company does this currently, relatively succesfully, albeit in a ring form. It's called 'Pear Ring', and is intended to notify others that you're single and open to meeting people.

Kevin McNally is the actors name. There are a lot of reasons why he wouldn't want his name revealed. The most likely is that he never actually said yes to anything and probably only expressed an interest. If you're going to hire people and use them in your pitches, you should know their background. The reason she has no idea how many books sold at retail is because the publisher used a shell company to purchase the books to make it on some best seller list. The put a few hundred into bookstores and the rest into storage. She either knows that or it easier withheld from her. Just like tik tomers claiming to have millions of followers with less than a percent actively viewing their content.

Friends and family exist 😂 a lot of young people these days (i would know, I'm 17) a lot of them forgot about their year 8 relationships, savour their friendships and embrace singleness (at least where I live). You can be happy without being in a romantic relationship.

In nutshell this 2 ladies did what many cultures been doing for centuries.
Personally I find it a horrible idea, everyone knowing that I'm single. I'm actively trying to avoid creepy men trying to figure out I live alone, I've had two experiences where handymen or deliverymen tried things because they figured that out, and the general consensus was, start wearing a wedding band to avoid this situation. To actively wear something that shows that , would make it very obvious that I'm an easy single woman target. I'm just astounded that two women would try and show off that you are "on the market".

The first one was honestly insane, for women they already get approached more than they want, it is the opposite of what they want, and for men they know it just screams desperate, the only people it would appeal to is a very small demographic of over confident males who are lacking in self-awareness and a sense of decorum.
Ironically another company launched a similar campaign recently, which involved wearing far more subtle and less ridiculous rings, and unsurprisingly it still flopped hugely
