    This. I don't know if you deliberately put effort into it or it comes to you naturally, but I'm always impressed by your ability to put forward your ideas in such a logical, coherent and incisive way, this video is a prime example of that. I appreciate this so much, it was a pleasure to watch.

    Doing the bare minimum some days (even many days) keeps the momentum going for when you are ready to step back into full swing. I think for me it's the mindset of - this has still been a successful/good/productive day and keeps me from going, well I already didn't do it yesterday can start tomorrow (which turns into weeks or months or just abandoning the habit altogether sometimes). I'm very pro doing the bare minimum.

  • @Cocoailustraciones

    Doing the bare minimum when not feeling ok sounds like a great idea. I had those days when I didn't feel like doing anything and dropped my routines, and the it was so hard to keep up with the habits. Or those times when I did the most, but it exhausted me, and made it so hard to continue doing my habits. So I think it's about learning to read our energy levels right and to learn how to admin that energy correctly, so we don't give up with our goals and habits

    Can you please make a video about healthy vs unhealthy discipline, or how to heal your relationship to discipline? I used to be obsessed with discipline as a way to punish and control myself. I would wake up at 4AM even though I'm a night owl, exercise to the point of injuring myself, etc. Now I'm scared of having even a little bit of healthy discipline, and I don't even do basic things like open my mail.

      @summero-my5in ปีที่แล้ว +2

      its about your mindset and intent, you're self aware enough now to understand that your past discipline was a form of self punishment, but you can discipline yourself healthily if you check your mindset regularly. Healthy discipline is guiding yourself in the right direction but still focusing on your well being.

      You seem to go from one extreme to the other so before attempting to be disciplined again it might be helpful to do some personal introspection. I would question myself as to why I feel the need to punish and control myself? Is there any positive intent behind that and how can I perhaps still achieve that positive intent, if it's something that I still deem necessary, in a healthy manner. If you've never tried parts work (IFS-internal family systems) I think this would a be a great time to start in order to resolve this internal conflict. Hope this helps, good luck :))

    Honestly - You are the reason i started down the road of personal development and intentional living. I used to binge your videos but fell off track a couple months ago. watching this right now and listening to you speak again is so nostalgic for me and is bringing back all the emotions and inspiration i remembered having when i first started and now feel like i need to get myself back on track and stop wandering aimlessly around.

    I really needed this, I notice I don’t lack self esteem and confidence from others but from me, I set my standards high and I can never compete myself as I’m always wanting more for myself it’s a struggle, probs worse than it coming from the outside world

    This was so onsporing! On your first rule, i want to try messaging myself to make a plan to go to the gym for instance, but if i dont go, give myself a legitimate reason for bailing. I deserve to know why ive made the decision not to benefit my health. Or plans to make a meal on friday night, i should have to accountable for why im bailing on myself.
