Consistency is key 🙌 I whole heartedly believe that the more you practice something, the better you become; and ofcourse this can be applied to practicing having a healthy and positive mindset

Ooh, I love the idea of a personal happiness guide. Sounds like I'll be creating a new Notion page. 😂

Your vibe in this video is my favorite yet. That dance at the beginning??! Adorable. Also, all the videos lately have been just what I need. I’m still in a huge transition season and literally rebuilding everything. I want to be satisfied and fulfilled in all that I do while getting my butt back into production mode. Using my Life Map, watching your videos, implementing my updated habits that you’re helping me take the time (key) to create. Sending you all the light and love!

I’m going to be using the “redo, please” phrase a lot! Even after going to many self development courses, CBT & counselling I am still beating myself up! This phrase may help me once & for all. Thank you MuchelleB 💛 p.s. this reminded me of when I went to one of my first courses, we were told any time the negative self critic or anxiety comes up, to shout stop no matter where you are. I adapted it to tell myself (in my head) “Calm”. It helped for a bit & then my life went haywire again. 🙄😊

I have been having a really good month or two, busy and active and doing so much art. But as I usually do, things going well is often a trigger for slacking on some self care behaviours which causes me to spiral later on. This video is a wonderful reminder to put my hands back on the life wheel before I spin off the road.

This is something I actually work on a lot in therapy. I have borderline personality disorder and my therapy is very DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) focused and I feel a lot of your content comes back to DBT practices, so I think if you haven’t you’d probably be really interested in the DBT workbook I have! It’s not too expensive but it’s green and called “The Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Workbook: Practical DBT Exercises for Learning Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation, & Distress Tolerance”. I feel a LOT of mindfulness exercises are DBT oriented and it’s super helpful and I although DBT was created to help people with BPD it’s literally so helpful for anyone and I think you’d LOVE it (I just was reminded bc accepting without judgement is like the concept radical acceptance). I recommend it so much! It’s a read but also a workbook and is super cool

Michelle, I think there are so many great nuggets in here. It may be just a me thing, but I would love to see you turn this kind of video into multiple videos, in which each one focuses only on one of these practices. I think I'd remember each practice better and be more able to apply them if they were in seperate videos with more of a break in between my learning about them.

I have been on a MuchelleB binge!! I went through a huge quarterly reset/refresh and listened to all your videos the whole time. I went way back and may have watched every single one! Love your content! Also cool to see how much you have grown over the years. Thank you!

I'm in a rut (kind of) right now. I noticed recently something interesting about my energy and willing to do things, I noticed that it drops after some time doing the same activities, I develop resistance and start to avoid them, also mess my sleep and meals schedules, procrastinafe a lot, cancel my yoga classes and avoid leaving the house. It may not seem like a win, but being able to acknowledge this behavior would help me to bounce back.

For movement is big! Because for me, movement creates motivation and THAT inspires me when I REALLY don’t feel motivated about something. SO knowing myself and knowing that I’ll get motivated once I start moving (along with some willpower) is usually enough for me to push through the initial zero velocity moment. But yeah!

I like the idea of creating a personal guide to your happiness. I deal with a lot of anxiety and having some things to do that I know would make me happy would be really helpful.

Hahahaha, I still write little scripts before business phone calls :) Amazing! I found it easier when I worked for someone else, but working for myself requires me to dig deep and be confident in what I'm pitching. I guess with practice I'll get more comfortable. But I love the idea of practicing my coping strategies for these types of situations. Thanks!

Wow, 7:10-7:15 there's a woman walking down the street, street looks familiar... So I did the research and found it's Bednarska street in Warsaw. In my country. I was there in November. Completely not related comment to the actual video, just wanted to share, cause it made me happy :)

I love the idea of a personal guide to happiness! ✨ I especially loved that you suggested starting with a personal guide to UNhappiness since that will spark ideas on what exactly I need to change. Totally doing this today! I am very unhappy in my life rn and I’d love to pinpoint why and change what I can ❤️

Thank you so much for yet another lovely and actionable Video, Muchelle 💜 I often listen to them while doing chores or admin. I have benefited greatly from the idea of a habit menu and would love to read up on it, but can‘t remember the video where you talked about it first- can you tell me, which book/author/scientist mentioned the habit menu?

I love the content and do watch your videos regularly…however I have a hard time following most of your discussion. Your speech pattern is very fast and anxious. You have energy and passion which is very engaging. Maybe it would be best to film less content or use more scripted content. You would gain credibility with a more even, thoughtful discussion.
