I had that on my test too right at the start 🤣 made two mistakes I've literally never done previously. I was present when I left the test centre then the first junction and roundabout my brain just completely blanked... Managed to get myself together after I did the first pull over on the left 😮💨 the examination acknowledged that it was just a nervous mistake but I thought I'd failed my test after the first few minutes but passed with 5 minors first time 😄 I think I was very close to being failed though at that junction 😬
@@GGMattt😂same , i like literally went into incoming lane, I never did this on the mocking test or lessons but why on the actual road test ? I was so pissed off

my biggest fear is driving down the road and seeing juvenal driving in the oncoming direction

Awhh she's so polite and sweet, I felt soo bad for her when you had to take the wheel you could tell she was really gutted, I'm confident she will pass in the car she's been learning in, it's much harder driving in areas you aren't familiar with as a new driver, best of luck on your test!

-Get a good instructor who you feel is helping /encouraging you. You will know in 2classes.Don’t hesitate to change if he/she isn’t working.
-Write down notes on how to do and references for each manoeuvre:
pull up on left, pull up on right and reverse 2 car length, parallel parking,forward bay parking,reverse bay parking and roundabout
-Understand and note what went good / bad from each lesson so we try not to do the same mistakes
- watch youtube videos to know how to do your manoeuvres better
- Say it out loud when you’re on your lessons so the instructor knows what you are thinking, what are you noticing and what your actions going to be
- Signup for 2 hour class and as frequent as 2-3 classes in a week.

For someone that isn't from the area she did well . I was thinking at the roundabout 3rd exit past the bridge the van driver wasn't the best with staying in their lane .

such a polite young lady on the channel dont see many like this these days an honor to watch your attempt hear & glad to hear you passed afterwards a great learning experience for you. Making mistakes can be the best learning experience & tackle nerves as well.
Charlotte won our hearts. I got my license 10 years ago and in the US but these vids are so addictive. It's a rarity to see someone like Charlotte these days. God bless.
I liked that you asked if she was okay after a big mistake, on my test I didn't get off to the greatest start at all 😓 was doing off side right turn at a junction and sat there a little too long like a lemon and then signaled way too early before the first exit on a round about even though it was going straight at the second exit. I stuck it out though and managed to pass first time with 5 minors even though I was sure I'd failed.
My 40 minute warm up with my instructor before my test was flawless, the test stress can hit you at any moment and you might make errors you've literally never made before 😅 my examiner noticed this early and acknowledged my initial errors due to nerves and after that I settled down (a bit) and stuck with the slim hope I could maybe save myself 😄 after the test he said my drive was fantastic so don't write yourself off completely with a few errors, as they might not be as bad as you thought they were 🙂
Sorry for talking about myself 😅 Charlotte did pretty well, some things need brushing up and the new car is a factor too but that shouldn't have affected her overall driving safety because that's a consistent and unchanging regardless of car. Give her another month or two of lessons and she could easily pass her test 😃
in my country, the emergency stop isn't even a part of the driving test, so I actually have never done it before and I have had my license for about half a year now

Yeah that's a Scottish accent, just not a particularly strong one. Most middle-class Scots sound like that but you generally hear the stronger accents on TV and in films.
At 10:44 it’s doubtful. It looks like she’s going very slow and was able to stop safely before the lights. I think depending on the examiner it could’ve been a minor. But I would’ve kept driving also. It’s just that on your test they’re extra strict about it.

@12:39 the learner is supposed to take 3rd exit, there are 4 lanes on the roundabout; how did she decide to enter the innermost (4th lane)? In such scenarios it's usually the 3rd lane unless indicated otherwise which didn't see anywhere.

Is it possible when an examiner asks to pull up on the left and pull off again to ask to pause and adjust your seat? In this case Charlotte may have found being one notch back on the seat rails would help with the clutch bite point by putting a little more stretch in.
As a PDI (part 3 test end of April) I am surprised how many students you have for Mock Tests that have never done an E/Stop. I get my students to do an E/stop quite early in there training so they know what to do if it's ever needed. Then we practice it a few time during there training and on test day before there test

I passed first time in my driving instructor’s car but haven’t really driven since (passed in 2017) as my parent’s car had a different clutch and I kept rolling down hills and it freaked me out

I love your videos but can I ask a question? Whenever you're in busy traffic turning right onto a 4 laned road, and the person in the lane closest to you gives way, can you now enter their path to wait for other traffic? I assume if you'd block a cycle lane or empty bus lane the answer would be no incase you need to wait a while and end up blocking the bus or a cyclist?

A police officer has his TH-cam channel and has said that because lane 1 is the default lane when you over take you don’t need to indicate to come back in because lane 1 is the default lane….. can you confirm this please as this is very dangerous and I’m sure if the police seen you do this you will be down for careless driving

Hey can someone help me out here, at 16:05 when she was turning right how come she didnt have to wait for the traffic going straight ahead? I thought even at traffic light controlled crossroads they had priority???
Edit: i get it now its a filter arrow, my bad
its a bit hard to make out but the traffic light ahead of the car has an illuminated green arrow. A STEADY GREEN ARROW means you may turn the way the arrow points. When you turn during the green arrow phase, your turn is "protected" because oncoming traffic is stopped by a red light. hope this helps

I failed my test (2nd attempt) couple of weeks ago for driving on the zebra crossing which had island in the middle and had 2 separate crossings . Examiner said you should've stopped 😢

Learners drivers are allowed with a fully qualified driving instructor .
Charlotte drove so well, it’s just a shame about the serious faults which, I believe was caused by nerves mainly. She needs to chill and if Charlotte drives a car she knows on test she should smash her test.
